Trade Michael Thomas?

My season is over - currently on IR is Thomas, McCaffrey, Fuller, T Jones, Hamler and Jeff Wilson, plus Barkley and Gronk out for an unknown length of time. Without doubt the worst and most disappointing season I have ever had in fantasy. I am 1-4 and almost certain to lose this week.

It's now onto next season. I already have 2 2022 1sts from other teams (both should be top 6) but unfortunately don't have my own. There's no reason then to tank the season, so although I have to look at rebuilding, Thomas could help me with better draft picks when he comes back as currently the two teams I hold draft picks for have records of 0-5 and 2-3, so I have motivation to try finish ahead of them.

I have been offered Melvin Gordon, Renfrow and my 2022 2nd (which will be very early) for Thomas. Gordon has very short term value, so essentially it's Michael Thomas for an early 2nd. Is that far too cheap and is he still worth a 1st, or do I just look to rip everything up and properly look to the future?

I did a recent trade that was basically MT for Javonte and I am rebuilding. I think an early second is selling quite low

I would much rather hold Thomas here over the package in play. I dont think the value is here now or long term. Hopefully Thomas rebounds.

Why sell Thomas at his lowest value? Give him a chance to come back and show something.

Yeah, hold Thomas… Nothing in that package moves the needle for me. You’ve held Thomas this long, why give him up so close to when he should be back?

I am all for selling MT, but not for that package.
