The Watson owner is shopping him around but wants my 1st rounder which at this rate will be top 3 - 5. Should I go ahead and offer it with the uncertainty of Watson? Obviously if he's back next year I'm golden but if he's not it could crush me since I need help at RB and most importantly QB.

Too much risk here. I still think Watson comes back and plays next year but either way you are in a good spot because that pick will be super valuable in the offseason. I would error on caution here. There has been very little movement in the Watson situation at this point.

My fear would be it gets cleared up and he's ready to play.. suddenly he's a lot more than a top pick. It's certainly a gamble at this point.

I would be willing to bet Watson is back playing football by early next season. He’s way too talented a player to be kept off the field for too long and the NFL knows it.
