Gabriel Davis value?

Looking to try and trade Gabriel Davis since I have 9 WRs with a higher dynasty ranking and want to free up a spot to add a lottery ticket at RB or TE. What is the current value of Davis?

Looking at the trade analyzer it puts him at a value somewhere between a 2022 2nd rd and a 2022 3rd rd pick. I already have two 2022 3rd rd picks and would likely not be able to keep a third player taken in the 3rd rd after roster cut downs so I'd really like to get a 2nd rd pick if possible.

Would offering Davis, a 2022 3rd rd pick (I have 2), and a 2022 4th rd pick (to sweeten the offer since I likely wouldn't be able to keep whoever I would take with the 4th rd pick) for a 2022 2nd rd pick be a respectable offer to a WR needy team?

Depends on how needy.

Someone with MT and TYHilton along with Julio and Aiyuk might be needy enough.

Someone with DKM, Sutton and DParker is probably happy to let this deal pass.

I could see a late 2nd from the right owner, but holding until he has a couple big games may yield a better return.

WR needy as in our league you have to start at least 3 WR's or up to 4 with the flex spot and his WRs are:

K Allen
Kupp
Marvin Jones
N Collins
Hilton
Tim Patrick
Quintez Cephus
Zach Pascal

Allen and Kupp absolutely really good but after those two definitely a good deal of question marks. Davis would fall into the Jones/Collins range from a dynasty ranking aspect. He also has Josh Allen so could pair Davis with him in another year after Sanders and Beasley are likely gone. What if I raised the offer to TWO 2022 3rd rd picks and a 2022 4th rd pick with Davis for his 2022 2nd rd pick?

Not nearly needy enough. Keenan+Kupp are top pieces. Jones is >> Gabriel. For now with Jeudy out, Patrick > Gabriel, and may be = long term. I'd say Cephus is currently performing better than Gabriel with the possibility of being better long term.

IMO, that owner would not give up a 2nd for Gabriel+scraps.

Maybe someone would take the deal. I think it's a reasonable offer. I think it's a good deal for the right team. But this is also a deal that I can see myself offering to everyone in my league and it getting absolutely no interest. As much potential as Davis has if he were to become the #2, he needs to put together a couple good games before his value goes up.

Davis, in my leagues, seems to be the kind of player nobody has interest in heads up... but wouldn't mind having worked in as a secondary piece of a trade.

Gabriel is a hold for now, you won’t get much and he should have some good games coming

I love Davis but you need to be patient with him. There will inevitably be a week where Sanders is injured or Diggs is out and he'll get a lot more volume thus increasing his value. I'd wait until he has a 20+ point game or closer to the trade deadline to move him. No reason to trade him right now while his value is at a low.
