I don’t see Goff having a ton of value after his contract is up in Detroit. Recouping a couple of seconds and a stopgap QB2 for the rest of the season or a decent but not great TE seems like decent value but curious if I’m undervaluing Goff here.

Given that this SF, I think this is severely undervaluing Goff. He may not be a long term option, but he has looked decent over two games in Detroit despite not having very much talent around him. He may well be a starter for a few years at least. It would take much more than either of those offers for me to trade him.

I don't mind gesicki and the 2 2nds. Maybe somebody gives a late 1st...but I don't see somebody landing 1.6 and thinking they want to trade that for Goff. Maybe you wait it out and hope somebody desperately needs a qb, then you can potentially flip him for an injured stud or highly tiered player...but I'm with you on thinking Goff's value has all the potential to plummet.
