I'm pursuing Chris Carson in one of my SF leagues (not listed in sig). The owner is being stubborn IMO so I wanted to run a couple of my offers by you guys. His team is a full on rebuild. Carson is the only player on his team with more than 2 years experience in the NFL so he is looking for young guys/picks. My team is ranked 9th according to fantasypros league analyzer, so I'm not looking to sell the farm, but I want to at least make a run at being competitive this year.
1. I give 2022 1st, Mims for Carson and Pat Freiermuth
2. I give 2022 1st, 2022 2nd, Mims for Carson, 2022 2nd
3. I give 2022 1st for Carson
He is up to this point insisting on Lavishka for Carson. He hinted he would be willing to do Carson and his 2022 2nd (should be the first pick in the second round).
So do any of my three offers look fair, and if not is Lavishka for Carson and 2022 2nd fair? I'm tempted by that, but I am not a huge Carson fan, I'm only targeting him because he is cheap for a starting RB and I have Penny for when Carson eventually gets hurt. Assuming Penny is not also hurt because we all know how Penny works.

Re: Carson vs multiple offers
I would rather hold the 1st in SF and explore Shenault for Carson + if you are contending. Shenault may never be reliable.
Re: Carson vs multiple offers
100% agree with this, keep the 1st and try and land Carson (or another aging depth RB) for Shenault.Gator Sens wrote: ↑Fri Sep 17, 2021 10:03 am I would rather hold the 1st in SF and explore Shenault for Carson + if you are contending. Shenault may never be reliable.
Re: Carson vs multiple offers
I am in rebuild mode and did a deal as the Carson owner for a 3rd rounder and Courtland Sutton and I thought that was pretty fair, depending on where your pick projects (sounds like mid to possibly late) I think that's more than fair if you wanted to do the 1st straight up. If you were trying to keep your pick I think Shenault for Carson + a 2nd that should be at the top of the round is an absolute steal. For perspective, IMO Shenault is like the #2B option in that offense right now behind Chark and Jones and once Etienne comes back he should slide down further in the pecking order, I just think a lot needs to break his way for him to hold significant long term value.
