Ugh the other owner wouldn’t pull off the deal even after we agreed over text. He said he would trade Chark and either Fournette/Gainwell for Akers and Hurts. Do I just hold Akers at this point and wait until next offseason?

When dealing with this owner in the future insist that all trade talks happen via the platform with trades being sent and countered.

hate dealing with people that agree in principle and then decline on the site.

No he isn't. The Jags literally posted an incomplete depth chart, and Chark was the only WR listed as a first string WR. Shenault isn't going to play out wide over him. Shenault is the WR 3/slot.

HOWEVER

I totally agree about this owner he's dealing with. I would just pull the plug on the deal and tell him to stop pissing in the wind.

To be completely honest the original deal was a HORRIBLE deal for the other owner. I'm not surprised he changed his mind once he took another look at it. I don't see anything wrong with the other owner's conduct. He verbally/texts/whatever agreed to a deal, but he never completed the official transaction on the website. IMO, that's a case of trade negotiations not quite working out. Nothing nefarious there.

Akers is done. No way I'd even consider trading Godwin for him. I wouldn't consider trading Chark for Akers.

Why haven't you accepted that deal yet? Akers is toast, so this is basically OBJ+Chark for an unproven QB in a 1QB league. That's like the biggest no-brainer deal I've seen all August.

Either you think Akers is going to return and be a RB1, or you think his injury has basically ended his fantasy relevance. If you think the former, you should hold him. If you think the latter, you should have already clicked ACCEPT on this offer.

I'm not convinced that obj is going to every approach what he did in NY and chark who knows, but I'd gladly move off of Akers' for that.
