Kamara Offer on a RB needed team

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Kamara Offer on a RB needed team

Postby Seattle » Thu Aug 05, 2021 8:12 am

Ok i have a team with Really no solid RBS and no one deals RBS draft them or never get one.

Offer is:

Kamara, Hamler, Tyrell Williams (both wr kinda a throw in as he have to drop guys)
for
Henderson, Diggs, And Tee Higgins

I feel the diggs and higgins side is by far better but i need a RB so bad and have WR depth. I could sup Cook for Kamara and see it that works but still a big price tag.. Thoughts.

Right now my 2 top RB are Fournett and Henderson. Team posted Below.

Outside of Adams, this really hurts your top end WR depth. Despite needing an RB badly, I would not make this deal. Fair or not, Kamara is about to play without Brees for the first time and while Brees missed time last year, Kamara's stats were rough. He should be fine and New Orleans should still get him the ball, but I would not invest at this price currently. Hamler and Williams are both worthless assets at this point and don't help the deal at all on your side. At this point in the RB shelf life, I think Diggs for Kamara straight up is fair. Higgins on top is way too much.

I’d much rather roll with Henderson than pay this price for Kamara. Way too much.

Kamara is a superstar. That guy would be an elite RB with me at QB. Payton knows that Kamara is the bellcow and he’ll go with the QB that gets him the ball. FYI..Brees wasn’t good last year...had no deep ball...and every defense just keyed in on Kamara. Didn’t matter.

If you do it, Henderson shouldn’t be involved if upgrading RB is the goal. Diggs and Higgins is an overpay as is.

I agree with those who say stick it out with Henderson. Or shoot for a cheaper fill-in target. M. Davis perhaps?
