JT for Harris and J. Chase

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Harris and Chase for me as well, and if by chance the 1.02 takes Chase, I still prefer Harris and Etienne to JT (just not by as much).

I would take the Picks....but change who you are taking......Harris, Chase, Williams, (assume Pitts goes 5) then Smith.......

Go young position..come out with 2 rb's that could flip next year for a couple of firsts.....

This is where I’m at as well. Props to the other owner for making a really strong offer, but with OP’s build, I’m keeping JT and making a run at the title.

To the OP,
Before you take Lawrence at 1.06, I would try to trade that pick for an established high-end QB like Dak, Lamar or Russ. I’d even be willing to add a piece to get that done. Your team looks really strong outside of QB and TE. If you get Pitts at 1.04, I think he and Trautman should be okay, but I would be worried about making a title push with Cousins, Baker and Lawrence as my QBs.
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

RB: Mixon, Jones, Sanders, Dobbins, Akers, Roschon, Dowdle, Kelley
WR: Nuk, Godwin, Cooper, Lockett, Flowers, Chark, Collins, Hollins, Tillman, Tolbert

Taxi: Willis, Z. White, M. Mims, T. Palmer

Hull Awaits

QB: Lawrence $5/3, Richardson $5/5, Minshew $1/0, Jones $1/0, Heinicke $1/0, Tyrod $1/0
RB: Achane $4/4, Warren $2/4, Roschon $7/5, Dillon $4/1, Hubbard $2/1, Kelley $1/0
WR: Nuk $78/1, MT $25/1, M. Williams $1/0, JSN $21/5, Reed $4/5, Rice $4/5, M. Wilson $2/5

I've tried to move for a QB. QBs are like gold in this one QB. Lamar was traded for Mike Evans and two firsts last year.

As the card carrying champion of the Chase club, this one makes me nervous. Just because another owner SAYS he is overdrafting ETN at 1.02, does not mean he will. I would 100% do the trade is you are guaranteed Harris and Chase, but you are not. I would make the trade contingent on those two players being drafted by the other owner and execute post draft. I feel Chase is the only player in this draft worth giving up a asset like JT.

Not trading arguably the new RB1 in Dynasty for two players who I may not even get in the draft and who have not played a single down in the NFL. (& I am incredibly high on both Chase and Harris)
The Other Woman Dynasty League - 12 Team PPR (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, 2 Flex)
QB: Herbert, Lance, Stafford
RB: Bijan, Hall, Cook, Chubb, Mattison
WR: Adams, Hill, Hopkins, Robinson
TE: Waller, Engram
-
You’re in this for Life - 12 Team 0.5 PPR
(QB, 1 RB, 1 WR, TE, 3 Flex)

QB: Fields, Young, Richardson, Smith
RB: Bijan, Gibbs, A. Jones
WR: Metcalf, JSN, Addison, Q. Johnston, Mingo, Rice
TE: Kincaid, Mayer, Gesicki
2024 Picks - (x3) 1sts
-
Dynasty Addiction - 12 Team PPR /SF (QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, TE, 2 Flex, SF)
QB: Lawrence, Fields
RB: Bijan, Dobbins, Etienne, Walker
WR: AJ Brown, Godwin, Bateman
TE: Kittle

I'd take the package.

Love JT, but also love Najee and then adding Chase on top is great value for JT.

QB - Dak, Brissett, Purdy
RB - Najee, Swift, J.Robinson, D.Henderson, McKinnon,
WR - M.Thomas, D.Hop, DJ Moore, Miller, G.Davis, MVS
TE - Kittle, Gesicki, Hockenson
Picks: 2023 - 1, 2, 2, 3, 4

Young Newts - 14 team .25 ppr Superflex, qb, 2 rb, 3 wr, te, wr/rb, OP
QB - Allen, Wilson, Cousins
RB - Chubb, L.Bell, Ingram, K.Johnson, Mack, T.Coleman
WR - M.Thomas, OBJ, Woods, Moore, Godwin, R.Anderson
TE - Gesicki, Witten, Irv
Picks: 2022 - 3, 4, 5

DirkaDirka - 12 team PPR Superflex
QB: Mayfield, Allen, M.Ryan, Bridgewater, Mond
RB: Mixon, Swift, Sanders, Ekeler, DJ, Kerryon
WR: Tyreek, A.Cooper, D.Adams, A-Rob, C.Davis, P.Williams, V.Jefferson, Duverney

I agree that Harris/Chase is fair to a little more value than Taylor. But as has been mentioned, you have no guarantees. That owner may want Etienne, but he could also be offered another RB and/or package to give up the 1.02.

I like the idea of getting the current picks owner to agree to the trade after he has selected the players you think you are getting. The “down side” if it falls through is you keeping Taylor.
