AJB, is this the day?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I'd hold Brown.

Two aging assets, although studs in their prime, seems like a downgrade to me. Pass.
14 Team, No-PPR, 20 Man Roster, TD Heavy, TD = 6, FG = 3, Start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K, D
QB: L. Jackson, B. Purdy, T. Lance
RB: J. Mixon, N. Chubb, A. Dillon, J. Cook, K. Mitchell, J. McLaughlin, Z. Evans
WR: J. Chase, C. Godwin, D. Johnson, J. Reed, C. Tillman
TE: TJ Hockenson, D. Njoku, B. Jordan

14 Team, .5 PPR, 18 Man Roster, Rush/Rec TD = 6, Pass TD = 4, FG = 3, Start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K, D
QB: L. Jackson, T. Tagovailoa
RB: B. Robinson, K. Walker, R. Stevenson, K. Herbertl
WR: C. Olave, T. Higgins, B. Aiyuk, N. Collins, Z. Flowers, M. Mims

I would not make the trade as Kamara and Evans have no value growth potential. I agree with never_punts on two depreciating assets. AJB could still appreciate to the 1.01 (long shot) overall while Kamara and Evans have peaked and could drop substantially in 2-3 years.
10 Team. PPR. 25 player roster. 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2 Flex, 1 SF, 1D
QB - Justin Herbert. Anthony Richardson. Geno Smith. Sam Howell.
RB - Saquon Barkley. JK Dobbins. Tony Pollard. Leonard Fournette. Kareem Hunt. Devin Singletary. Zamir White. Tyjae Sharp. Jaylen Warren. Jerome Ford. Zach Evans. Chris Rodriquez.
WR - AJ Brown. DK Metcalf. Chris Godwin. Deebo Samuel. Amon Ra St Brown. Courtland Sutton.
TE - Darren Waller. Pat Freiermuth. Evan Engram.

2024 - 1st. 4th.
2025 - 1st. 4th.

I'd probably take such a deal for AJB but I'll admit by bias and love for Kamara, plus my RB room is very thin (currently, and typically).

For the OP it really comes down to making a run this year. I think Kamara becomes a starter on that team and the WR room is still packed. Love AJB too, and this is a tough pill to swallow; but I'd pull the trigger.

P.S. - No one in my league would ever offer such a package. For example the Evans owner would probably scoff at adding anything to Evans to get AJB. This is a nice starting offer. Any chance he'd add a small cherry on top? Maybe he says "heck no"...and that might be your sign to walk away.
"Marathon Square" - 16 team full PPR league with 24 player roster. Keep 16 per year indefinitely, draft 8. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Team DST
QB: Jordan Love, Deshaun Watson
RB: Travis Etienne, Aaron Jones, Jamaal Williams, Kendre Miller, Jaleel McLaughlin, Sean Tucker, Deuce Vaughn
WR: A.J. Brown, Garrett Wilson, Tee Higgins, Calvin Ridley, Michael Wilson, Kendrick Bourne, Tutu Atwell, Allen Lazard, Isaiah Hodgins, Justin Shorter
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cole Kmet, Kylen Granson
K: Didn't make the playoffs in 2023  , and don't usually hold one in the offseason
Team DST: Cowboys, Lions

Picks:
2024: 1.06, 2.06, 4.06, 5.06, 6.06, 7.06, 8.06

Disclaimer: My one and only Championship in this league was way back in 2011. Therefore, take my replies with the appropriate grain of salt.

Appreciate all the input!

I walked away, not big on letting trades sit for an hour or more when I acknowledge they are there. I am personally in the camp of "live or die" with AJB. He my favorite player to have in all dynasty and is arguably WR1 in dynasty football. From jump street I thought the offer was good if given for any of my other two WRS (DK, JJ) I am very likely to take it. However, to snag AJ Brown I would need a player like Mahomes back. That just how much I like to have him on my team. I in fact swapped places with the person in 1.10 in the startup with my 1.01 just to assure I could grab AJB. It wasn't logical but it has resulted in me getting the sexiest lineup of WRs I could ask for, so to me that is a "W". If the person that gave me the offer AJB added Kittle to the trade I might've pulled the trigger since then I would be assured a competing team. He understandably wouldn't do for multiple reason, but the main one is he just got Kittle from me for A. Jones, Big Ben, and Rondale Moore and is a huge Kittle fan.

I think its fair to devalue Kamara a bit since Brees retired. I think AJ is actually overvalued a bit. 1000 yards and 10 TDs a year is nice, but I dont see what everybody is going ga-ga over. I think we all got spoiled for a few years with Calvin, AJ and Julio just crushing it at a Hall of Fame pace, but since then receivers like Diggs, Brown, have rotating with those 1000/10Td numbers on various years.

Even when Kamara’s rushing ability drops off he’ll still be an elite receiver until he retires. Kamara is one of the few RBs that I can say that I’d be surprised if he wasn’t fantasy relevant well into his 30s. His receiving ability makes him sustainable. I’m going that route pretty easily, though I do like Brown. Even without Evans, the Kamara side wins.

RB- Bijan Robinson, T Pollard, Allgeier, Charbonnet, Achane, J Wilson, Kelley, K Williams
WR- Lamb, Jeudy, Hill, C Olave, A Pierce, Shaheed, Bourne
TE- Goedert, Musgrave
