1.9 vs Mike Davis+ SF

Postby Slackalacker » Fri Jun 18, 2021 2:21 pm

Team 1 in sig, 10 team SF

I’m wanting to get back up into the 1st round and grab one of the top 3 RBs or WRs. An owner offered 2.2 for my 2.5 and Mike Davis but I’d rather see what Davis has in him and maybe flip him a few weeks in for a future pick.

I was considering offering the following deal since he has expressed interest in Engram who I am tired of rostering

Give: Mike Davis, Evan Engram, 2.5
Get: 1.9

Is this worth it? He also owns the 1.5, 1.8, 1.10 and I also have the 2.8 and 2.10 so there’s some leeway with the picks. He’s expressed hesitation to give me the 1.9 or 1.8 because he really values getting to pick before me but I want to ensure I’m in the top 10 so I can hopefully grab someone like waddle, smith, Williams or ETN.

I think you can afford to make this deal if this lands you one of the rookies you are hoping for. Davis has very little long term value in my opinion. I think he will produce this year, but I doubt based on age you will get a better offer regardless of what he does in season. Engram is very risky at this point too.

You're pretty deep. 1.9 feels like Smith/Waddle to me, two guys I like a lot.

That seems like a good deal. In myb12 man sf 1.09 was javonta. Waddle and smith went after that.

You should end up with Javonta or Fields ot Wilson and I think those are all good deals for the price you are paying
TEAM 1 - 12 man Superflex

11 starters - QB, RB(2) WR(3) TE, Superflex, Flex(3)

1 PPR, 1 points every 10 yards rushing/receiving, 4 points per 100 passing, 4 point passing TDs, -2 INT.

TE premium 1.5 PPR and 1 point per 8.5 yards receiving.

QB- Russ, Herbert, Zach Wilson, Wentz

RB -CEH, AJ Dillon, TJJ, Kene Nwangu, James White,

WR - Jamarr Chase, Jerry Jeudy, Claypool, JuJu, Aiyuck, DJ Chark, Elijah Moore, Hardman, KJ Osbron, Hunter Renfrow

TE - Mark Andrews, Fant, Dalton Schultz, Tommy Tremble, Colby Parkinson

2022 picks-1,1,1,1,4,5
2023 picks - 1,2,3,4,5

Let him pick before you, but make it clear that for you this drops significantly the price of the 1.10 pick (offer 2.05 + Engram). See what he says. It's possible that you still have a great player available at 1.10 and can get him for cheap.
