OTC - 1.08 for early 2022 1st, 2023 2nd

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

OTC - 1.08 for early 2022 1st, 2023 2nd

Postby kevin5464 » Wed Jun 16, 2021 11:42 am

Hi all -

I have the 1.08 (and others, see signature), and someone's offering me a 2022 1st and 2023 2nd for it. Usually, I'd pass, but he had the worst team last year (1st pick) and will likely be one of the worst this year too, so it should be a high pick.

Is that worth it, or should I just pick best available at 8? So far, it's gone Harris, Pitts, Chase, Etienne, J Will, D. Smith, and someone else at 7 who hasn't' picked yet.

Thoughts?

Javonte Williams sticks out as BPA for me here and would help given your build.

That's not a bad return. Your team is young and shallow. I would see if he's willing to add in a fringe player to diminish the kicking of the can down the road.

Javonte Williams went at 5, so he's not available.

Based on who is gone and available, I would take the potentially very early 1st here. It's close for me with Waddle, but he has his concerns at the NFL level.

He backed off the offer, going to try and get his guy at 14 (where I am again and he'll offer again).

So now, it's Trevor or Waddle for me...stress!

I would do it. An early 1st is good in 1QB.
