Waller vs. Andrews

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Waller vs. Andrews

Postby smbkrypt24 » Mon Jun 14, 2021 6:42 pm

12 team PPR. Start 1 QB. For team 1 in my signature.
Quick recap this team is a contender and I want to beef up my TE spot. The team I would trade with is rebuilding. What do you think of this offer?

My: Andrews, 2.08, 2022 2, 2022 2
For his: Waller

Too little? Too much? Good offer?

Personally, it seems a little too pricey to me but I also think Andrews is decent enough that the gap to Waller isn’t two seconds.

Fair offer if you are shooting for the huge upside and target share to continue for Waller.

That’s a lot to add but I see a lot of difference between those players. Probably what it would take to get Waller.

x2 Waller is leaps and bounds above Andrew's imo if this was offered to me for my Waller I'd respectively decline

So many polarizing views. Some say 1 2nd bridges the gap. Some say 3 2s is too light.

I think you start with 1. That way you have room to add 2’s if needed. Not sure the gap is more than 2 2’s though. But I think I would overpay if you think you can win this year.
PW league - 10 tm Dynasty league-Roster/Keep 28 - Pass:1/20 3pt TD; Run/Rec:1/10 6pt TD; no ppr; no neg pts

E league - 14 team-can keep up to 9 but keeper round moves up 1 each year, no 1st or 2nd round players can be kept; number is parens = next year’s keeper round; * = player was kept for 2023
Pass 1/20, 4pt TD, Run/Rec 1/10, 6pt TD, 1ppr, Fum/Int = -1, other scoring is pretty regular

Back to back champ, so yes I think I can win this year. Kelce owner values him extremely high and a decent contender, so can't work out a deal with him. Kittle owner is contender as well so I am going to next best option to shore up that position.

I can't imagine that's enough for a Waller owner to accept.

My buddy just won the ship in a 12t sf TEp league. Waller was a pivotal piece on that team. On draft day he traded Waller for Andrews and the 2.2, taking Sermon. Future seconds add alot less for me and would take at least 2.

If I was rebuilding I think that would be fair but I would shop him around a bit more first. I also think Andrews rebounds and is a good buy low though.
