Why is Logan Thomas' Value so shot right now? It seems like he got a QB upgrade. I know we don't like aging TEs but he finished as TE3 last year and is being drafted as TE12 right now. I got him as TE18 about a month ago.
Am I missing something or did his value really take a huge hit?

Age and lack of historic production. Most were extremely sceptical of Waller after his breakout too until he did it again. Lots of risk in trading for Thomas pending price.

Lack of historic production is the #1 thing, as noted above, and lack of comps that suggest we can bet on him to do that again
WFT also has little invested in Thomas and that signals that he's most likely not a long-term solution
Then age, there are just many young players folks would rather have like Fant, Hock, Goedert and the next tier of guys
Now the new TE Reyes (sp?) is getting camp hype, they added Curtis Samuel, and they drafted Brown at WR
Gibson should also take the next step forward and be much more involved in the passing game now in year 2
With that being said, if you can snag him for a random 3rd or at TE18, you are acquiring him even below his floor and that's a SMASH every time

Completely agree. It’s been impossible to get even ok value for Thomas on my rebuilding teams, including offering him up for every back-half 1st in a 14 team, start 2 TE league (rejected every time).
