16 team SF startup trade advice
Drew 1.04 in a 16 team SF startup. I’m up. Guy with 1.07 offered his first second and fifth for my first second and seventh. So basically I get to move up in the 2nd and pick up an extra fifth for a seventh. Draft has gone Mahomes CMC Kyler. So I can either take the QB of my choice like Lamar Allen Herbert Dak Burrow Trevor. Or I can still get one of these that are left (just not my top choice) and get to pick earlier in the second and twice in the fifth. Thoughts? I think there’s a strong chance Dak is there at 1.07 but Allen and Lamar will likely be gone.

If you are fine with any of those QBs and are not set on one, I can see the value here grabbing an extra 5th to drop back a few picks.

Allen. If you truly have 4 guys that close it’s a reasonable offer I suppose but 16 team sf give me Allen here. I’d want more here to make that drop.

I'd be interested in the deal, but I'd be looking to acquire an extra pick instead of swap a seventh for fifth. So maybe trade the first and second for a first, second, and 7th, 8th, or 9th if possible but nbd. Any of those qbs left, especially Dak, would be damn fine after a trade down.

Re: 16 team SF startup trade advice
I ended up doing a trade of swapping 1sts and 2nds and got him to give me his 5th for my 8th. I tried for his 4th or getting his 6th and keeping my 8th but he didn’t want to do that. I took Dak. I think the gap between Allen and Dak isn’t that far with Dallas having an elite offense/bad defense and he’s less than 3 years older. Plus I get to move up 4 spots in the 2nd and the extra pick in the 5th. I’m pretty happy so far.
