Crazy overpay or no?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Should I offer Nuk and Dobbins for Gibson and 1.5?

Its reasonable and you get your guy, do it!

Crazy overpay or no?

Postby Buckhill Bombers » Mon May 17, 2021 6:10 pm

Okay, I might need someone to take me off the ledge. I am a life long Washington fan and really want Gibson in one of my 12 team PPR dynasty leagues. Early today I offered Dobbins and Evans for Gibson and 1.5 and was rejected. I felt that was a very fair offer but he just isn't wanting to move him. Would I be crazy to offer him Hopkins instead of Evans? My roster is really strong (I'd still have Hill, Thomas, Evans, McLaurin, and Jeudy at WR) or is that just a crazy overpay?

What’s the rest of your team look like other than the WRs? If you’re competing then you should keep your 2 stud WRs. Both offers are overpays IMO.
12 Team 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex, 5IDP
QB: Rodgers, Love
RB: Achane, Gibson, Dillon, Sanders
WR: Jefferson, Lamb, G Wilson, Rice, JSN, Burks
TE: Goedert, Likely, Musgraves
2024 Picks: 1.04, 1.05, 1.11

16 Team 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
QB: Stafford, Fields
RB: Gibbs, Singletary, Dallas, Juszczyk
WR: Lamb, Burks, G Wilson, JSN, Q Johnson, Hardman, Goodwin
TE: Dulcich, Albert O, Gray, Granson

Its my best team out of a dozen dynasty teams
Mahomes, D. Jones
Chubb, Akers, Dobbins, Edmonds, Lindsay, Henderson
Hill, Hopkins, Thomas, Evans, McLaurins, Jeudy, Hardman, Cephus, Preston Williams

I would hold what you have at this point after the reject. You have a great chance to contend, no reason to break that up. Even Dobbins for Gibson is fair on a one for one deal.
