1.11+2022 1st for 1.03 (Fields)

Postby nosferatu » Mon May 17, 2021 1:05 pm

For team B in sig. Runner up last year, league is going to SF in 2022. 1.03 is on the clock with Lawrence, Pitts gone. I inquired about trading up and it sounds like the pick can be mine for my 1.11/2022 1st which I'm hoping will be late again. Really want to add Fields to get ready for the SF switch. Would you make the deal? Should I hold and grab one of the solid WRs at 1.11? It's also tempting to grab Chase to push for another ship before SF. Thanks for the advice.

Edit: Team B NOT Team A

Personally I would move up for Wilson for considerably cheaper

But if you only want Fields it's not bad value

Is it possible any of the top 4 qb's will be there at 11, seeing as though it won't be SF for another 2 years. If you think i'ts likely, I would stay at 11. If not, then moving up seems fine for that price.

I would do it. I took Fields with the 1.03 in a SF league myself. Best offer I had was my 1.03, and 2.03 for 1.12, future 1st (from a contender) and Darnold. Not enough for me to move it personally.
Team 1: 12T PPR SF no premiums, 4pt TDs

WR(3-5) AJB, Adams, Sutton, Boyd, Bourne, Wicks

TE(1-3) Hock, Jonnu, Kmet, Kraft
3.06, 3.09

Team 2: 12T PPR, TE premium, SF
QB(1-2) Cousins, Love, Tanny, Trask, McCoy, Zappe
WR(2-6) Lamb, Olave, Hollywood, Godwin, JaMo, Sutton, Diontae, Lazard, McKensie
RB(2-6) ETN, A. Jones, Dillon, Hunt, Moss, K. Miller, S. Tucker
TE(1-5) Hock, Brock Wright, Everett

Team 3: 12T PPR SF TE Prem
QB(1-2) Fields, Young, Darnold, Trask, Dalton
WR(1-6) AJB, Pittman, Hollywood, Sutton, M. Williams, Davis, Meyers, Van Jefferson, Sheperd, McKensie

If you want to lock up Fields, I don't think the price is too bad moving to SF next year and this could look really good a year or two from now. That being said, do you get the feeling QB's are going to go early in preparation for next year?

I am struggling how your team A was runner up last year. You are thin at QB, thin at RB, thin at WR and have no TE. Are things not updated? If not, you have too many holes to trade away draft capital.

I expect them to go early, perhaps a slight slide but not much. We announced the move to SF before last season's rookie draft. First round was close to what I'd expect out of SF: CEH, JT, Burrow, Dobbins, Akers, Swift, Lamb, Jeudy, Jefferson, Tua, Herbert, Love

I could see making the move up to grab Fields based on the price.

That makes a ton more sense! I am not sold on Fields for this investment, I would rather stand pat and take Wilson, You have a stud QB and a very servicable QB, you don't NEED to make a trade up. Let it come to you

Welp it's looking like I'm going to get out bid, so I'll be taking whoever falls to me instead.
