What needs should I be prioritizing and do you see my team as one that can afford to trade back for future 1st+ or one that should be looking to move up?

I was the runner up last year falling 11 points short thanks to Kamara's 60 pointer and the Panthers D teeing off Dwayne Haskins

RB looks like your biggest need. I would have no issue moving your late 2nd if the right deal comes along. I would also be looking to keep your wr core together, so I dont see a great option to trade up.

Being SF you wouldn’t have to trade up too many spots, assuming the 4 QBs go early in the 1st. As the draft unfolds and Harris or ETN are still on the board, ask and see what on top of 1.09 it would take to move up to their pick.

I would try to move any of your qbs not named Mahomes and later picks to get another pick in the 1st. I would want to get a rb and a rook qb out of this draft.

You're fine at qb. I wouldn't look at trading up unless its cheap. Hopefully one of the rbs falls to you at 9. Just draft bpa.

None of the RBs fell to me and no trade in efforts succeeded

I took Zach Wilson (over Smith/Waddle, Mac, Carter, Sermon) at 1.9

Maybe my most "gut call/stick to the board/BPA" pick at 2.5--even with Trey Sermon available I took Terrace Marshall. Doesn't fit with need at all but I've seen this mistake of people taking mediocre RB prospects (KeShawn Vaughn, Zack Moss) over stud WR ones (Higgins, Aiyuk and even Jefferson last year) and thought BPA was the way

Took Elijah Moore at 2.9 (literally every RB was off by this point--Gainwell went two picks ahead and Rhamondre Stevenson one pick ahead) and I rated Moore very highly to begin with

Dyami Brown at 3.9 (all the top 8 QBs and RBs through Javian Hawkins were off)

Gerrid Doaks at 4.9 (because why not)

Added Elijah Mitchell as an undrafted rookie

Guess I need to be trading for an RB. Maybe I should have been more flexible with BPA in the face of a contending team on the brink

Looks good. I think sermon at 2.05 would have been fine but I like marshal a lot more too. Marshal over sermon there was the right move I think. Moore at 2.09 is great, looks like the mediocre to bad rbs going before let him drop to your. Doaks and Mitchell were two great dart throws.
