I’ve found that it’s pointless trying to talk to these people. If they really believe that is fair then then is no reasoning with them. Not worth the headache. For factual analysis, the trade calculator scores it at 689% more value to Metcalf side. The gap is someone like Henry, Diggs, Akers, Kelce to name a few.

I always wonder if guys like that really believe their offers are fair, or if they are so nervous about losing a trade in any way they always overvalue their side.
If he really thinks going into competition with Gage+Gordon is better for his team than DKM, he's going to lose a lot of games. And I'm someone who's probably higher on both than most owners. I had Gage on a couple of teams last year and think he could marginally improve to be a dependable Flex this season. And Gordon won't be an RB1, but he could definitely help, especially on 0RB teams. But neither should be considered a critical facet of any trade involving DKM. They're in different strata.
