SUPERFLEX: 1.02 for AJB

Postby dynastyfootballer » Fri May 14, 2021 1:50 pm

SF League, team in sig. If I stay put at the 1.02 I'd take a QB but given that I don't really need QB I'm considering trading out of the pick. This offer is on the table, should I take it or try to counter?

Give: 1.02, Boyd

Get: AJB, Gus Edwards

Team 1:

WR: AJB, Diggs, Godwin, Reed, K. Allen, M. Mims, Osborn

2024 picks: 1.12, 2.12, 3.01, 3.03, 3.10, 3.11
2025 picks: 1st, 1st, 2nd

Team 2:

QB: Mahomes, Lamar, Dobbs, DTR
RB: Bijan, Hall, R. White, Herbert, Dillon, Warren, Penny, Dowdle
WR: Olave, DK, Bateman, E. Moore, Reed, Reynolds
TE: Pitts, Everett

2024 picks: 3rd

Team 3:

QB: Stroud, Dak, Tlaw, Levis
RB: Bijan, Gibbs, ETN, Pollard, Javonte, Chandler
WR: Lamb, ARSB, Aiyuk, Adams, JSN, Dotson, Watson, E. Moore

If you are not going QB, I would much rather have Brown over any other non-QB prospect. Edwards gives you a touch more depth at RB as I'm sure he will still get some work. Brown takes all bust risk out too.

To be clear, if I held the pick I would go QB, I'm just not sure I need to add another QB to this roster.

Ajb would be my preference here. Only player in this draft I take above him is Lawrence.

I think without a clear need for a QB and the type of asset Brown is, Brown is the way to go.

You can never have too many QBs(see sig har har)

AJB is a nice upgrade to your starting lineup. I'd probably go with him. He is lined up to have a monster year. My only concern is there aren't many starters in your league so QBs do hold a ton of value in that format. It would give the 1.02 a little more value than if there were a couple more flex positions
TEAM 1 - 12 man SF. ppr, TEP 1.65 ppr

11 starters - QB, RB(2) WR(3) TE, SF, Flex(3)

Stroud, Kyler, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Minshew, Trey Lance, Dalton l, Mike White

Breece, Achane, AJ Dillon, Justice Hill, Evan Hull, Chris Rodgriquez

Chase, Lamb, Waddle, Olave, London Drake, Demario Davis, Jake Bobo

Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Kincaid, Schoonmaker

24 picks - 1x2, 3,4,5

Team 2-
12 man SF, .25ppc, .5ppr rbs, 1 ppr wr, 1.5 ppr TE

Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawerence, Jake Haehner, Jake Browning

JT, Kendre Miller,, K Ingram, Ty Chandler, Michael Carter, Kenny Macintosh, Sean Tucker

Puka, Rondale, Mooney, Wan’dale, Terrace Marshall, DPJ, Justyn Ross, Xavier Hutchinson,

Kyle Pitts, Luke Musgrave, Juwan Johnson, Darnell Washington, Jelani Woods, Elijah Higgins

24 - 1st x 3, 2nd x 2, 4th x 3 ,5

With Mahomes, Dak and Tua I would prefer AJB over adding a rookie QB.
