Good evening gents,

Time has come and gone and thanks to your advice that at took, and some I didn't. My team is rounding into shape. I know I am no area to compete for the championship in most of your eyes, however was interested in making a move for Jonathan Taylor. The offer is this:

T. Etienne and C. Godwin

for

J. Taylor

What are your thoughts?

He said he would do it if I added one of my 3 2022 1sts, but I have no interest in doing so. Most I would add would be a 2nd, but would prefer a 3rd. I also suggested if he would to want my 1st it would take either Godwin out replacing him with T. Marshall or he would have to add one of (Kupp, Shenault, or 2nd) I prefer Shenault due to youth. Would love your feedback of ideas.

Nice price for Taylor. Etienne is unknown and a complete gamble and although I really like Godwin long term, he is on a crowded offense currently. Nice price here.

I think it's pricey but that also comes down to if Etienne hits. Essentially moving an early 1st prospect, another early 1st or multiple 1sts and adding a 1st for Taylor. Three - four 1sts, or equivalent value is what it takes to get Taylor currently. Although it's pricey, there are still multiple "ifs" here. Godwin and Taylor are the only known productive assets. I'm not sure I would pay all that until I see Etienne on the field, but I'm higher on Godwin than most I feel. In the end, you would lock up arguably the top asset in a single QB league format.

I thought we were discussing the long since retired LB from the Miami Dolphins.

I'd much rather Jonathan Taylor than Etienne though, and if I felt I had the WR depth to take the hit losing Godwin it's a deal I'l likely make. Bummed as a Godwin owner, but it seems with Brady under center the ball will continue to be spread around quite a bit. His ceiling seems lower than what it was in the good 'ol Winston days.

In a vacuum, I think this trade is fair. However, I don't think you can spare Godwin from your lineup
