Hopkins/Terry trade (poll)

Give: Hopkins + Pick 17
Get: Terry + Pick 10

I really don't want to move Hopkins but I'd rather get out a year early than a year late.

He's pushing for Terry + 2.02 for just Nuk, but I'm lukewarm on what's there at 12. Make this deal for 1.10 if I can? If not, take Terry + pick 12? Or just hold Nuk?

I'm at the point where I'm inclined to just hold Nuk or make the deal with 1.10, and not bother with the 2.02 deal. Thoughts?

I think the value overall is pretty solid if you can make the deal to get the 1.10. Hopkins value is dipping fair or not and McLaurin is a very solid asset. This is the classic case of cashing out. If you really don't want to move Hopkins though, you just have to be comfortable holding and letting him age out on your team but enjoying his production. I do think McLaurin could be in for a big season in the short term with Fitzpatrick this year.

I think there is a difference in cashing in versus selling short. To me this is light for a WR I expect to produce elite numbers for atleast 3 more years.

Hopkins for me. He's still an elite target hog in his prime. This is selling low. Try to shop him around or wait until he starts catching kyler bombs again in a few months

Thanks all. I'm just going to trust my gut and hold Hopkins here. Terry is only 3 years younger anyway and I agree that Hopkins will likely outproduce him for the next 3-4 years
