Miles Sanders vs Jeudy (Poll)

Postby PhillySpecial » Thu May 13, 2021 11:06 am

I posted a topic earlier about Sanders and am flip flopping on his value. I think I am higher than most people but I am also an Eagles fan. Which side would you want? My roster is pretty stacked all over so this move would just generally be about which player is valued higher in the next few years. I think Sanders value may only decrease moving forward so I am leaning the longer term value with Jeudy.

TE - Darren Waller. Pat Freiermuth. Evan Engram.

Both player values could increase in the immediate if they hit. Jeudy has the chance to hold his value longer based on age and the position he plays in theory. I'm very high on Jeudy, but if you were to make a deal now and move Sanders for Jeudy, I think you should be getting something solid on top. Sanders has been a bit up and down but he is a starting RB which always helps the value.

Pretty easy for me.

I agree that Jeudy will have longer fantasy relevance than Sanders, with a possible 10-12 year career looming. I'm just not certain that NFL career will mean a lot for fantasy owners. For the next 2-4 years, I want Sanders.

Sanders has proven he can be a RB1 for fantasy and should be no worse than a high-end RB2. Sanders is a starting RB with 3down potential, and has shown us 3down performance. The best we've seen from Jeudy is a low-end WR3 borderline Flex. He has the potential to improve into a low-end WR2, but as long as Sutton is there, Jeudy's ceiling is more likely to be a high-end WR3.

Jeudy has tons of talent, but the presence of Sutton and subpar QB play limits his opportunity to shine. Just like Hollywood has talent but is limited in Baltimore. Talent isn't always enough for fantasy relevance.

Sanders is currently more valuable. I'd try to get a 2nd on top of Jeudy, adding a 3rd to Sanders.

Sanders has had two years to perform like a RB1 and can’t seem to overcome injuries and poor performances. I’m worried if I hold him, his value will only decrease with another subpar season. RB’s fall off a cliff and the value lost cannot be regained.

Then you need to sack up and just make the trade.

Haha 'sack up' - well said. Thanks for the responses and I will await the ever important final poll results.

Values are close enough where you should make the trade that gives you peace of mind. No point in having a player that you keep worrying about game to game.
