I dont know why Waddle couldn't be a healthy Fuller/Cooks/Djax/Hilton if he stays healthy(all would be wr1s or 2s at times. There is just no way to know but it's not at all out of the realm of possibility. Not everyone is Ruggs and John Ross

I was kind of excited about Waddle until 2-3 weeks ago.

I recently looked up WRs in the NFL under 6-0 and aside from Tyreek none under 6-0 were WR1s. Lockett at 5.10 was the best and while I like him a lot he's not close to a WR2. Beasley and Woods were next. No matter what Waddle's combine height shows, he's closer to Beasley's size than Woods' 5-11. Waddle's height alone seems to tie him lower fantasy value. i don't think I want to bet against the reality and try to spot the outlier. I'd rather take DSmith and his taller frame. I'm not saying he's a guaranteed bust, but I'm worried enough to spend my lottery pick on a different player.

For me

I might slide Waddle in there ahead of him but otherwise looks good.

It's easy to forget Chark has NFL 2nd round capital and has a 1k season already. Nothing to turn your nose up at.

Just got through the beginning of my draft for this team. With my first four picks, I took...
Chase
Etienne
Javonte
Waddle

As my 3rd pick (8th overall) approached, I'd convinced myself to take Pitts or DSmith but I was torn. They both went in the 2 picks before my selection, so I took Javonte who I think I wanted all along at that spot. Then I closed out my early picks with Waddle.

I feel pretty good about the outcome. If half of those 4 work out, it will add nice youth to my roster. Now I'm becoming the biggest Etienne fan.

For the rest of the draft, I'll focus on IDPs.
