2022 Picks Trade: 1st FOR 3 2nd

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

2022 Picks Trade: 1st FOR 3 2nd

Postby Z$$$ » Wed May 12, 2021 12:03 pm

Team 2 in sig.

**This is a special league. Half are AFC only rosters and half are NFC only rosters. Picks are the only thing that can be traded cross conference **

This owner came to me with this trade:

Get: 2022 1st
Give: 3x 2022 2nd

The 1st is from a NFC team that has Kamara, CMC, Kupp, C Samuels and Fields. Given the unique league, and the obvious that players start healthy, the first I am guessing to most likely be late.

The 2nds I have are mine, the same NFC owner mentioned above and another owner who I would say is middle.

It’s a bigger league so is it worth giving up 3 2nds for a possible late 1st? I haven’t done much looking at other rosters lately to see if I could do a similar deal, maybe just 2 of the 2nds, for a 1st that would appear to be earlier than the one in question... I know it’s tough to project so that’s why I’m enlisting your help.

Thanks!
12 Team 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1Flex, 5IDP
QB: Rodgers, Love
RB: Achane, Gibson, Dillon, Sanders
WR: Jefferson, Lamb, G Wilson, Rice, JSN, Burks
TE: Goedert, Likely, Musgraves
2024 Picks: 1.04, 1.05, 1.11

16 Team 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1TE, 2Flex
QB: Stafford, Fields
RB: Gibbs, Singletary, Dallas, Juszczyk
WR: Lamb, Burks, G Wilson, JSN, Q Johnson, Hardman, Goodwin
TE: Dulcich, Albert O, Gray, Granson

Based on the league being bigger and depth sounding key, I would hold your 2nds over a late 1st.

I am holding on the 2nds. If it was a bad team's 1st, then maybe, but that still is a gamble.
