Take best player here right??

Postby Buckhill Bombers » Wed May 12, 2021 8:39 am

12 team PPR SF best ball dynasty. Probably need RB, TE, or QB help more than anything else, but isn't St. Brown the best player and who I should pick with the 2.11 pick? Roster below, and we start 1qb, 2rb, 2wr, 1te, 1 super flex, 3 regular flex

Ryan, Tua, Darnold, K. Allen
Gibson, Conner, Ron Jones, Lindsay, McKissic, Pollard, AP, Chris Thompson
Hill, Thomas, Julio, Chase, Gallup, Marshall, AB, Crowder, Cam Sims, Perry, Duvernay, Isabella
Andrews, Smith Jr., Arnold, Sample

Best available:
QB- Mond, Trask, Mills
RB- Hubbard, Stevenson
WR- St Brown, Wallace, Rodgers, Collins
TE- Freiermuth

Seems best options are Hubbard, Freirmuth, St. Brown....would you guys take here?

I've heard Freiermouth is more of a blocker. I probably take Amon-Ra here, yes. Though with your TE it might be worth the flier on the TE here. I'm not big on him.

RB is the position you need most help at. Doesn't mean you have to draft for need, but I would seriously consider Stevenson here.

From NBC Sports Edge
"Steelers selected Penn State TE Pat Freiermuth with the No. 55 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
Freiermuth's size (6'5/258) and resume lend confidence he can excel as an every-down player in the NFL, recording a catch in 29 consecutive games (all but his college debut) and passing Mike Gesicki for the most touchdown receptions (16) by a tight end in Penn State history. He earned the "Baby Gronk" monicker as a sure-handed inline option, totaling three drops on 99 targets while shedding 12 tackles on 66 receptions over the last two seasons. Freiermuth has the build and traits to be an above-average blocker in the NFL, as he was throughout his career with the Nittany Lions. The Steelers have Eric Ebron signed through 2022 and the tight end position has one of the steepest learning curves, but Freiermuth has tools and history of college production to make a Year 1 impact."

Here's the thing, If he's a good blocker he'll stay on the field more and be able to go for more routes. Remember as good of an offensive weapon that Gronk was, he really excelled as a blocker. Freiermuth is not a blocking only TE.

As I said with the comparison to Gronk, Freiermuth's best asset is his blocking, but he is a capable receiver. Blocking will keep him on the field and open up passing opportunities for him. I'm guessing he won't be a breakout this year though with the weapons that they have in Pitt, the problems with their o-line, and Ben being washed up. But for whatever qb they bring in next year I think we can see a bump in Freiermuth.

St brown may be the best wr on detroit this year, but they are going to be bringing in more talent next year.

If you're looking for a one year play, go at brown, if you are looking for a dynasty starter down the line take friermuth
