OTC with 2.11 rookie pick

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Who should I draft at 2.11?

OTC with 2.11 rookie pick

Postby Buckhill Bombers » Mon May 10, 2021 2:17 pm

Seems like a QB is by far the best value here even though its a 1 qb start league. Thoughts on who you'd take here with this roster?

Best Available:
QB: Wilson, Fields, Mac Jones
TE: Freiermuth, Tremble, Long
WR: Amari Rodgers, Wallace, Eskridge, Atwell, Palmer
RB: Mitchell, Jefferson, Jaret Patterson, Herbert

Current Roster:
Murray, D. Jones, T. Hill
Chubb, Gibson, Edmonds, Hunt, D. Evans, L. Murray
Hopkins, AJB, Ridley, Claypool, Diontae Johnson, Sutton, Rondale Moore, Grant, Tim Partrick, John Ross, MVS
Gesicki, Hurst, Arnold, Sample
Picks 2.11, 3.11

With Gesicki and Hurst as my main TEs, I'm taking Frei here.

All you guys saying Fields, I get QB for sure, but if I know I'm starting Murray all year save injury, don't you think Wilson has the higher upside LONG term, even over Fields? I guess I just have a block with Ohio State QBs...and to a point with Chicago offense....

I mean I prefer Wilson regardless just because I think he's a better player. But for the whole offseason the dynasty community is set on this crop of QBs:

Lawrence>>>>>>>Lance/Fields>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Wilson/Jones

So I assume the consensus will be Fields

I dont think specific qb matter, you take the one YOU think has the most upside in a qb1 and then flip it if they are your backup

new wrinkle, was offered Logan Thomas for this 2.11 pick. While he was great last year, and I'm actually a Redskins fan, I worry with Samuel, Brown, and even the QB change (Fitz throws a lot more downfield than the dink and dunk we had last year) Thomas numbers might take a huge hit...even though my TEs aren't crazy strong. Would you guys consider Thomas or still go Fields or Wilson here?

TE Prem? 100% gamble on Thomas. Otherwise...Probably go QB. I doubt Thomas gains in value though he may very well return the value. The QBs can gain and hold value easier. I don't see it as enough of an upgrade from Geisicki to give up the chance at Fields/Wilson.
