SF Mahomes

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

SF Mahomes

Postby joeya2001 » Fri May 07, 2021 1:40 pm

So this off season, the Mahomes owner will discuss trade talks regarding him, but said he needs a haul.

Last few years he was NFT

So, im thinking of making an offer,

he needs help at TE and WR

Would this be an over pay if i offered the following

Wilson, Kittle, and a WR like Pittman or Chark for Mahomes

Team 1 below
1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR 1TE, Super Flex, 2 Flex Spots. 10 Team Dynasty PPR

2016 Champs 2019 Runner up 2020 Champs

QB- Lamar Jackson, Jordan Love
RB- Alvin Kamara, AJ Dillion
WR- Christian Kirk, Michael Pittman, Aiyuk, Alec Pierce, DJ Chare, Terrace Marshall, Metchie,
TE- George Kittle, Darren Waller, Greg Dortch.

Team 2 10 Team 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 1 TE 2 Flex 2 SF

WR Tee Higgins, Sutton, HollywoodTerry McLaurin, DJM, Ju-Ju, Hodgins,

Seems like an overpay but it will require an overpay to land Mahomes in any SF format...almost any format in general actually. Mahomes and Jackson to me is the best one/two punch in SF with the highest ceiling possible so I can understand wanting to build around the pair as your RB core looks like you are rebuilding/retooling.

Thing is i have no picks this year, so mi can afford to look at WT TE, i just dot know if this will hurt alot in the long run

Are you looking to rebuild overall or get younger?

Im not in full rebuild yet, im just concerned with Kittle long term health and want to cash in on him. I know he produces when hes out there, but 17 games , idk if he can last

I can understand wanting to cash in on Kittle. If you are leaning toward retooling and literally building around Mahomes and Jackson, I would be shopping your WR's as well is all I was going to suggest. You have a great QB and WR core already but your RB core will really hurt your team and some of your WR's are creeping up on the value cliff.

That’s what it will take, but I Hate that deal for you in a 10 team sf.

Agreed, Wilson is older but put up close to the same points that Mahomes did this past year and you're throwing on a top 3 TE plus a WR. You buy back the years while getting younger from Russell, but your overall team points will go down. I'd hold here.

That's a severe overpay in a 10 team league and I'd just hold what you have. If you are concerned about kittle move him for a RB. Gaskin, d harris, and Dillon should be fine
