1.02, who would you take?

Postby steelerspride » Thu May 06, 2021 7:07 pm

Who would you take. I traded josh jacobs and some things and ended up with 1.02. Hate the rb spots. Najee went #1.

This is standard scoring, NOT ppr.

14 teams. Only start 2 wide receivers. Wide receivers are never valued in this league. Running backs are gold and gobbled up.

I feel like i lost jacobs i need a rb, i could compete this year. But if i take chase i have an injury prone mixon and maybe mike davis?!....

Pitts for 10+ years is enticing too.

Welcome input. Or if i took chase, how to approac rb without giving up on this year.

I voted Chase because I still have Chase at 1.01 and sticking with my board, and with the caveat to draft for talent and trade for need, I'd be awfully temped to take Pitts here.

Maybe see if the 1.03 guy wants to give you good value to move up a slot and let him make the decision for you?

Chase or Pitts. I like the idea of seeing what 1.03 would give to move up. If you’re torn this would help make it easier.

If you’re picking then I’d go Chase

Chase for me. He seems like the safest bet and still has huge upside.

crappy think is the guy with 1.3 has 1.4 think hes content letting whatever fall, he needs help everywhere. 1.5 wont give up much to move up. then the guy with 1.6 has 1.7 has three good rb's...but hes not gonna move 1 for 1.2 unless I give up more. He has chub,CHE, Akers

I voted pitts because I’m sad I have no chance to get him in my dynos and I think he’ll be great. Chase is awesome and should probably be the pick but…

Non-PPR is the only place I could see Harris going over Chase potentially, so to have Chase still available at 1.02 is great, I think he’s the easy pick there.

For all the folks saying chase.

In a league where rbs are gold. And wr have diminished value....what do you do at rb? Every team has 5-6 3rd string rbs on their bench.... finding anyone half decent is impossible. You can find playable wrs

It sounds like you want everyone to tell you it's okay to pass on Chase for a RB. It's your team and you know the league better than us. So if you believe going RB is the best option, then do it. But most people will tell you Chase because the WR hit rate is much higher than RBs and they last much longer too. It's completely possible Chase is a top 5 WR for multiple years from his 3rd season on. The most likely scenario for the RB you take is 2-4 years of production and then it's off to find their replacement. Remember when Gurley was a thing? Fournette? This isn't Barkley we are talking about (even he hasn't lived up to his draft capital due to injures).

You make good points. Its not that im looking for someone to tel me its ok. Its that ive screwed up this team so bad. That i think chase is a better pick, but dont know how to address running back if i take him.
