SuperFlex OTC: QB3 or WR2?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

SuperFlex OTC: QB3 or WR2?

Postby Prison_Mike » Thu May 06, 2021 7:06 pm

12tm | PPR | SuperFlex startup
(Start: 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3WRT, 1SF)

Team so far:
Dak, Baker
Zeke, Sanders
Jefferson
Fant

Should I go with Wentz, Cousins or wait on QB3 and hope to land Brady/Winston?

Best WRs available: Aiyuk, Golladay, Juju, Kupp/Woods

I’m thinking QB here and then double tap WR at 8/9

Thoughts?

As tempting as a WR is, I would go with the safety and floor of Cousins.

Give me Wentz. Bounce back season is a possibility. I want ceiling or longevity with QB3. I think Wentz gives you a ceiling while Cousins doesn't give you much more certainty/longevity

Should be plenty of WR, I assume RB is all dried up?

Pretty much. Best left is Hunt, which isn’t bad. But I think I’d prefer a QB or WR

Yeah my tm 2, I have Hunt and only have Mahomes/Ryan at QB. I'd be trading Hunt for either QB on the board there in a second

I took Wentz based on his ceiling. Tough call since Cousins was probably safer

Cousins

Carson Wentz is garbage and with Zeke you are already locked into being a win now team

Can’t fault you for going either way between those two, but I do agree QB3 was the way to go rather than WR there.

Cool thanks, just hope I can land a decent/high upside pair at the 8/9 turn

I’m hoping there’s a QB/TE run

I think you made the right decision going with a QB there. Honestly, not sure if I would have went with Wentz there, but hopefully he has a bounce back season.

Yeah I feel you. I went with Wentz based on the age gap and the potential ceiling and figured I could absorb the risk since he'll be my QB3. But I agree that Cousins was definitely the safer play.

It's funny though, I didn't realize how polarizing the Cousins/Wentz debate would be. I posted it on another forum, got like 50 answers and pretty much every other one was the opposite lol

Cousins is safer, but I think you chose right for your QB3.

Haha. That is funny. Different forums will give you completely different answers. Definitely can take a risk with him being your QB3. Best of luck.
