I'm in the middle of a 12tm SuperFlex startup - (Start: 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3WRT, 1SF)
My team so far is: Dak, Jefferson, Zeke, Sanders, Mayfield
A leaguemate inquired about Sanders immediately after picking Higgins in the 6th round.
I told him I'd been eyeing Tee, so that might be a good starting point depending on how tied to him he is.
He said "that's fine, just depends on what we add"
I said "okay give me a minute, I'm talking to another owner as well"
He said "2022 1st, 2nd, and 3rd?"
A) I need to confirm that he's offering those picks in addition to Higgins
B) If that's the case, I have to throw team need out the window and accept this based on value alone right?

If you really get a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Higgins for Sanders, then yes do that all day. Sanders isn't even considered a top 10 dynasty RB in a lot of rankings.

Higgins + a 1st is well worth moving Sanders for in my opinion, but I'm higher on Higgins than Sanders straight up.

i think Chase now has a lot of owners, rightfully so, cooling on tee, i think sanders has a very clear path to 3 down work, id be hesitant to trade sanders but a mid first and higgins is a good return.

He ghosted me after this. Not sure what’s going on. Maybe I misunderstood his offer, but it WAS immediately after saying ‘it depends what we would add’ lolpunintended wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 7:00 am i think Chase now has a lot of owners, rightfully so, cooling on tee, i think sanders has a very clear path to 3 down work, id be hesitant to trade sanders but a mid first and higgins is a good return.
But I agree, I think I’d have to take that value but not a slam dunk because 3-down backs are so hard to come by

I'm probably lower on Sanders than most but I don't think he's some great asset to have anymore. If you have an owner willing to give up Higgins and 1st, even that's a good deal. I know it's difficult to think past this year and you want to compete in a startup but I think it's within the realistic outcomes for Sanders to be just another guy in a year or two. There's a lot of uncertainty around Sanders with the new-look offense, and while things could pan out, that's hardly a sure thing.Prison_Mike wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 7:03 amHe ghosted me after this. thats contrary to just about everything ive read from beat writers who consider sanders to bet he focal point of the Eagles offense...and thats probably backedup by them not using any real draft capital or FA $$ at RB this last season. And siriani going to a single workhorse back in JT...yellowdart2448 wrote: ↑Fri May 07, 2021 7:14 am There's a lot of uncertainty around Sanders with the new-look offense, and while things could pan out, that's hardly a sure thing.
