On the clock at 1.5

Postby gman6199 » Wed May 05, 2021 2:31 pm

I'm on the clock at 1.5 in my 10 team dynasty (rookie only draft). My top two choices are either ETN or Smith. We will be going to a SF format in 2022. I have the 1.5, 2.4 and 4,1, 4,6 in this years draft. Chase, Harris, Williams and Lawrence are gone. Thoughts on 1,5. I'm going BPA with 2.4

Format: QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, FLEX (TE, WR, RB), FLEX (TE, WR, RB)

My team is:
QB: Hurts, Mayfield
RB: Dobbins, Gibson, Drake, Michel, Mack, Boone, Edwards
WR: Jeudy, Golliday, C. Davis, G. Davis, Anderson, Crowder, Pittman, Callaway, Coutee, Campbell
TE: L Thomas, Jarwin, OJ Howard

Take a QB if you are moving to SF next year, and its not remotely close.

I think you go with your top QB left with moving to SF next season.

I'd take Lance, Fields, Waddle, Moore (Rondale) and possibly Pitts over the players in the poll. Granted, if you want to shoot for the moon you could go Etienne and hope he hits his ceiling. I'm admittedly down on him, not a popular take around here I know.

But you start 3 WR, and can flex two more. You need some real help at that position IMO. This obviously is a better draft for WR than RB so that's the route I'd take.

Also, you need stud QB's in a 10-team SF (starting next year) as well, and while Baker had a nice season in 2020 I wouldn't feel comfortable with him as my QB1. Hurts is a question mark. Maybe you have a shot at one of the top-5 rookie QB's at 2.4 but that depends on your league mates. You know how that will go better than I. I think you need to make sure you somehow get one of them though and take 3 QB's into 2021.

Hope it works out for you, good luck!
