1.05 for Godwin

I posted yesterday about potentially trading for Godwin. I’ve been messaging with the guy and he came out and said that he’d trade Godwin straight up for my 1.05.

Is this an easy accept? Or should I hold onto 1.05 and draft one of Pitts, Waddle, Smith, Etienne, Williams, with maybe an outside shot at Chase (don’t see that happening though) to stash on my taxi for a year?

I’ve also already got 5 WRs being drafted between 15-28, so does Godwin make much sense with that, or is that something you would worry about later with the WRs?

Godwin by a mile. If he and chase are both available in a draft I think Godwin goes before him 9/10 times

Yeah at 1.05 your choosing from what's left of the 3 RBs or Waddle/ Smith. Godwin is still young. I'd take the sure thing here.

So even with my WR situation (5 guys from WR14-28), you’d still trade for Godwin and work out that situation later? And do you still think Godwin is an elite WR? Especially with all the weapons on TB and how Brady likes to spread it around? Just wondering if I should chase a more elite WR (like top 10), versus these that may fall between 12-30.

I see that everyone commenting is saying Godwin, but 3 people have voted for keeping the 1.05. For those that say keep the 1.05, do you simply think the options at 1.05 can turn out better than Godwin, or are you thinking I shouldn’t go for Godwin with my current WR situation. Just curious as to why vote that way (no wrong answer there, but I’m honestly torn and want as much input as possible).

My guess is that the people voting for 1.05 are worried about the crowded situation in TB. Brady likes to spread it around, and Godwin's 2019 season may not be coming back. Still, an elite WR who will be around for some time. I'm taking him easily over the likes of Smith and Waddle.

So it looks like the overwhelming number think that Godwin is the best way to go.

If I make the trade, should I look into trading a WR/ packaging 2 for a better one? I would have 6 WRs between WR14 and WR28, so deciding the 2-4 to start each week will be tough.

1QB - Godwin (i'd value Godwin around the 1.03 range)

SuperFlex - 1.05 (i'd value Godwin around the 1.06 range)

You think so? I’m super high on Chase and think I’d take him those 9/10 times, so that is very interesting. I’m trying to figure out if there is any player I’d take at 1.05 over Godwin, and the only ones right now would be Harris (won’t be there at 5 anyway) or Chase (probably won’t be there either). Not so sure on the other ones at this time.
