Lance+ for Hockensen+ (SF/TEP)

I was just offered a very intriguing trade... team 1.

I give: Trey Lance, Corey Davis

I get: TJ Hockensen, Tee Higgins, 2024 1st

I desperately need TE help and Higgins looked really good last year (although now Chase muddy's the waters). The 1st down the road is nice, but too far out at this point for me.

1.2 for Hockenson and Higgins in a SF is pretty reasonable. Davis for a 1st round pick after I’m dead is probably fair too.

Side note, I hope the trader of 2024 1st has to pay ahead for that season!

You have the depth at QB to make this deal if you don't want to see how Lance pans out. Hockenson and Higgins are bother very solid young assets and the 1st although a long way out will gain value. I think the value is here, but I would not want to sell Lance too early. Tough call, but I would lean the package based on your QB core.

I agree with Gator: tough to see someone like Lance grow on someone else's team. But Higgins and Hock walking through that door is a good consolation.
