Buy lows

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Buy lows

Postby AresGodOWar » Fri Apr 30, 2021 9:55 pm

Seeing how most people already crowned every rookie drafted in the first 2 or 3 rounds as a starter , Who are the buy lows effected most by the rookies right now you would go after ?

I haven't did the math , but every year there is probably a better than %50 bust rate in the first 2 or 3 rounds of the NFL draft , So I'm trying to buy low on players that got hit the hardest.

I mean I didn't trust guys like Cam , Dalton , Jimmy before the draft , even though I think Cam still starts this year , MG is already too old but should have a good year , Parker was already hurt by Tua.

I don't think the rookies hurt Boyd or GDay , JRob took a hit at his catches and some carries , Atl WRs and TE might not suffer this year that much , Reagor and Goedert might get helped having someone else taking coverage.

Two other teams just came to mind , LAR and Car WRs , Should any of their values fall at all with them taking WRs in the 2nd ?

I think Woods, Kupp and Moore are all well established and do not take a hit. If you believe in Robinson at all, his stock is probably very low and inexpensive now. Gordon also came to mind for me also and I think he still puts up solid numbers.

Jrob. If you believed before last night at 2-3rd startup prices, you have to believe at 2nd round rookie value.

Hollywood. He wasn't worth that much anyway, but may be even cheaper now. Having a real threat pull coverage might be good for him. He was already getting plenty open though...

A few more I thought of:

Evans or Godwin - maybe not traditional buy lows, but with Brown resigning and Brady spreading the ball around, perhaps one could be had at a discounted rate.

Aaron Jones - same thinking if an owner is worried about Rodgers.

Penny - Carson will likely miss time and Penny is probably dirt cheap.

Josh Reynolds - will finally be a WR2 in a solid offense while carrying a cheap price tag.

Corey Davis - likely not overly pricey and will be the WR1 on his team.

Melvin Gordon - post draft is likely a bit cheaper and should put up numbers for a contender.

Watson - worth price checking long term.
