chase, unless it's non-ppr.

RBs have more market, but i do believe chase is a special talent, while none of the RBs is.
if you went metcalf over jacobs you're not regretting it.

Chase

The line is so bad in Pittsburgh, I actually don't like where Harris landed. The touches will be there but a bad line can crush an RB. Not a great combo for a rookie trying to learn.

If it's a toss up, given the longevity at the WR position vs RB, tie-breaker goes to the (much) longer expected career in dynasty.
Team 1: Dynasty/Contract Team: 12 Team, PPR, QB,1 RB, 2WR, 2 Flex WR/RB, TE (Premium TE scoring: 1.25X receiving yards points)
QB – J. Hurts, A Richardson (R-IR))
RB – Javonte Williams, K. Walker III,J. Hill, J. Ford, K. Miller (R), J.K. Dobbins (IR), K. Hebert (IR)
WR – J. Chase, C. Lamb, K. Allen, T. Burks, DJ Chark, P. Nakua (R)
TE – D. Waller, C. Okonkwo, L. Thomas, J. Ferguson

Team 2: Dynasty Team: 12 Team, 0.5 PPR, QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 Flex WR/RB/TE (Premium TE scoring: 1.5X receiving yards points)
QB - A. Rodgers, L. Jackson
RB - B. Hall, S. Barkley, A. Kamara, E. Mitchell, J. Mason, Z. White, K. Miller (R), T. Spears (R)
WR - T. Hill, D. Adams, C. Watson, M. Brown, R. Rice (R)
TE - D. Waller, G. Kittle, J. Ferguson

I have picks #1, 3, 5, 7, 8 in a total rebuild. I am going to take Harris at #1, I do not think Chase will go at #2 because the team's best RB is AJ Dillon. So I expect to take Chase at 3. This is a non-ppr 1 QB league.
21 Players Dynasty-10 teams, (Non-PPR, 4 pts per passing TD)

I have been beating the Chase drum forever, not changing tunes. He is my 1.01. I actually think Pitt is a bad landing spot, TE may move ahead of Harris in my RB rankongs post draft
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

Barring injury Harris will provide instant Top10-ish positional production and continue to do so for 4-6 years. It's unlikely Chase repeats JJefferson's explosive debut season from last year. So that means he'll probably have a slow build-up where he goes from fantasy borderline WR3 the first year to borderline WR2 the second year to maybe high-end WR2 by year 3. And from there it's anyone guess if he actually becomes a spectacular Top5WR or just kind of hangs around at that WR2 status for a decade.

I love Chase's potential, but I have to take the more certain Top production of Harris over Chase. Especially in a 10-team league where the most important factor is having Top10 (or even Top5) positional talent. And this is only 1/2 ppr, not full ppr.

You can start 2-4 WRs. It's very likely Chase will not do better than the 4WRs ahead of him in your lineup and spend the entire season on your bench. OTOH, Harris will almost certainly be in your starting lineup from the 1st game. With Harris, you have a good chance to contend in 2021. With Chase, you don't even have an adequate RB2.

I vote you take RBs with 1.01 and 1.05. If the top 3 RB are gone before 1.05, you can look at the best WR available.

The hit rate on top-5 WRs is too high for me to possibly pass on Chase for Harris.
