I'm very high on both and Ridley is one of my favorite assets, but I would lean Jefferson based on what he showed as a very young rookie. The 1st is too far out.

This Jefferson value is insane. I’d take Ridley and the 1st here 10/10 times. Even with the solid value Ridley gets across the fantasy worlds he is undervalued to me. It is not crazy to think Jefferson could greatly regress this year from his production last year. Could match or increase but it’s not crazy to think he hits 950 yards and 5-7 TDs. Ridley is stud and 1st on top regardless of 2 years out is nice.

You’re not wrong. I just think it’s likely at this time next year Jefferson value has cooled off some and ridleys still hot. Age gap is only trade off here. I’d be willing to bet Ridley outproduces Jefferson next year absolutely: several years is how I feel actually barring injuries to them.

I can see this argument too. I'm very intrigued to see where Jefferson goes from here. I have never been an owner that sells when a player is at max value if I like the asset. This has burned me many times however. I actually own both Ridley and Jefferson, so I'm fortunate there but I feel like Jefferson has more value currently. Both were top 5 WR's last year, so they should be even but I don't think they are in most owners eyes. I'm glad I'm not trying to buy either this offseason for sure!

I don't see why JJ is any more likely to regress than Ridley. Especially given the small but realistic possibility that Ridley is looking at a QB change as soon as 2 days from now.

When the pick comes around Ridley will be entering his age 29 season, JJ will be entering his age 24.

At that point Ridley best case is something around the 4/5th rd startup adp range, while JJ’s age would still be a complete non-factor. Hard to see a single first making up the difference then.

JJ here for me. Too me both wr's are in a somewhat shaky future with who their qb's will be. Does Atl find a successor to Ryan or try to make another run? Cousins is signed through next season, what does Minny do beyond 2022? So both to me have question marks regarding the qb they will have, but I like JJ more and a 1 st rd pick a few years out doesn't move the needle for me.
