Chubb v Mixon

Postby jonesmaster » Thu Apr 22, 2021 10:10 am

8 team league and its SF.

Im a serious contender and made the following trade: acquired Chubb for Mixon and 2022 first. Too much to pay?
8-team SF / 0.5 PPR / TE (Full PPR) Scoring: 1QB, 3WR, 2RB, 2FLX, 1 SFLX, 1TE, 1D/ST, K (Only relevant players listed)

QB: Kyler , Dak , R. Wilson, Dimes, Kenny P
RB: AK , Mostert
WR: Godwin , Deebo , Dotson , Hollywood, Addison, E. Moore
TE: Andrews , Njoku, LaPorta, Washington, Mayer
D/ST: Bills / Philly

Picks : 2024: 3 firsts; 2025: 3 firsts; 2026: 4 firsts

Might be a bit of an overpay based on the projected workload of Mixon if healthy, but Chubb is the best piece at this point. Mixon could be a true workhorse while Chubb is capped by Hunt, but we have been here too many times with Mixon and the thought of this is the year...

In an 8 team league I want Chubb here if you're competing. Mixon is a good buy low right now, but Chubb is just a rock solid producer who is a lock to finish as a mid range RB1. Mixon has been so up and down in his career that I'm okay paying for the certainty that you get with Chubb.

I think you're selling Mixon at his lowest value point. This in itself would give me a pause as an owner.
