CEH or ?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

CEH or ?

Postby SteveMaddensShoes » Wed Apr 21, 2021 4:25 pm

I've got an owner inquiring about CEH in league in sig.

We are kicking around ideas. I really need RBs but would you swap CEH for Lamb if you could? I know the value is technically there but I'd be in a bad spot at RB.

I view them pretty similiar, but you need CEH much more for your roster configuration
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

CEH is more important to your roster, but I much prefer Lamb straight up.

CEH may be the better fit for your team, but I feel like you are still some pieces away from competing. Lamb is probably the safer and better value.

I wonder if you could acquire another RB or WR with one of your picks before doing this deal

In my opinion you aren’t close to competing I’d probably make the trade and grab the best long term piece in the deal in Lamb and try to find a rb when your build is close to complete in 2023 when the Rb class is much stronger hypothetically than it is this year or next year
Qb: Hurts, geno Smith
Rb: JT, Gibbs, Montgomery, Roschon, Z. White, Ty Chandler
Wr: AJB, JJ, Chase, waddle, G Wilson
TE: Pitts, Kincaid, Likely, Njoku

2024 1.01, 1.04, 1.05
10 team
9 players kept yearly
Non PPR
Not super flex
Start 1/1/2/1/2 flex
1 point per first down
All tds 6 points

I keep getting mixed feedback on where this team stands. I'm trying to work out a deal with him where I send a few other guys and maybe get a different RB in return.

He has Mixon which doesn't fit my mold but seems like a good buy low and flip midseason. What kind of prices are we looking at for buying and selling Mixon? I offered Chark and the 2.10 but knew it was light but my trade partner hates having anyone on his team start to age. He said he would look into it and think about it.

I think you have a solid team but I would look into trading M.Ryan or maybe another QB, you are sitting strong there and should be able to get another RB or WR, or maybe a decent draft pick for one of your QBs, I would keep Burrow for sure though.

If you do make the trade, draft RB at 1.1, maybe 2.3 as well. How bout trading a TE or two? You have a lot of WRs already so keep that in mind. I’d lean keeping CEH or having a trade in place to acquire another RB quick after trading away CEH.

I'd take Lamb.

I'd trade off the 1.01 and try to get 1.02 or 1.03+ so you can take Harris or ETN and add an asset on top.

Use some other future picks to bolster your RB room.

Lamb and not close in the format for me. There’s no rb premium when you get to 11 starters. Fielding good flex players becomes difficult, so there’s really no reason to build around RBs that last way fewer years in a format like that.

It's April. This time of year, you trade for value. Plenty of time to make trades for filling your roster. Take Lamb.
