Rookie 2.08 for rookie 3.01 & Mattison

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Rookie 2.08 for rookie 3.01 & Mattison

Postby Riverad98 » Wed Apr 21, 2021 11:55 am

12 team Dynasty Superflex PPR. Dalvin Cook owner. Contending team. I received an offer of the rookie 3.01 & Alexander Mattison for my rookie 2.08. Is there a big talent drop off at 2.08 or is adding my top handcuff worth moving down five spots?

I would do that. As a Cook owner with Mattison as well.

Seems like fine value to drop back and lock up an elite handcuff. I'm not a big handcuff pursuer, but I feel Mattison is one of the few good ones to own.

Its worth it of you know who your target is in that range & you feel he will fall to 3.1. Who are your other RB's? Would you even start Mattison if Cook is out? SuperFlex should net good prospects @ both spots but 2.8 will look a lot better on draft day.

I would make the deal to get Mattison, he should be worth a late-2 early 3 on his own.

Cheap price for a handcuff. Cook is always a little concerning and you hate to play a full season, make playoffs and then lose a starting RB. Mattison could at least be a plug and play. Unless you also have IDPs in this league, I'd make that move if you have the roster space.
