Fair bump to move down from 1.2 to 1.3?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Fair bump to move down from 1.2 to 1.3?

Postby Buckhill Bombers » Wed Apr 21, 2021 8:46 am

PPR 1 QB Dynasty league. Would you consider offering 1.2 for the 1.3 and Edmonds? Or maybe ask for Edmonds and 2.3 (and maybe give back late 3rd round pick or picks?)

Current roster below, and we start 1qb, 2rb, 3wr, 1te, 1 reg flex
Big Ben, Wentz, Winston
Swift, Ron Jones, Lindsay, Cohen, Vaughn
AJ Brown, Godwin, McLaurin, Diontae Johnson, Mike Williams, Curtis Samuel, Crowder
Fant, Smith Jr, Howard
Picks 1.2, 2.2, 3.2, 3.10, 3.12

This is my weakest dynasty team and trying to figure out how to best improve my depth/talent. Clearly RB is the biggest need....

Dropping back one pick is not a huge deal, but I would still want something better than Edmonds to do it. Your RB core is not the best, but Jones II and Lindsay will both put up points if you have to flex one. Edmonds does not add much more upside over those too in my opinion.

If you can add a later pick and land Edmonds and 2.3 I think that would be fair value to move down to 1.3.

Or how about 1.2, Duvernay, and OJ Howard for Gibson, 1.7?

I think this deal helps you much more at RB and you still have a shot at the 2nd tier of rookies.

Owner rejected it without counter (as he always does...hate owners like that, no comment, no counter, EVERY time)

Gibson is way too much to ask for. Gibson is worth ~1.02 alone. Duvernay and OJH have almost 0 value.

I like this move, you still get BPA available at 1.3(they are equal crap shoots), you also get a rb that will contribute for you or might be the starter? YOu also get the 2.3 who could be a rb like gainwell or sermon? Many options just to let one person pick in front of you!

Of all pieces mentioned (though not specifically asked about), I'd gladly move 1.02 for Gibson straight up, but aside form that I wouldn't be that interested in even moving back one spot for likely non-contributors. Maybe there's not big gap between 1.02-1.03, but I'd want to see landing spots and see who 1.01 goes with before making any move down. Edmonds does nothing for me here.
