Hey guys,
I am looking for a young RB and have the 1.02 in a SF league. I am set at QB so would probably go Najee Harris at 1.02.
Dobbins owner offered me Dobbins for my 1.02.
Looking at ADP and Trade values it‘s actually quite fair.
Question is whether 22-year old Dobbins or 23-year old Najee Harris is better/has more value?
Thank you in advance.

I would hold until post NFL draft also. Dobbins is in a good situation but loses a fair amount of carries to Jackson. Harris could go to a better situation but that is no guarantee as of now.

In SF, I would want more for the 1.02. This is a pick to be used on a QB, and owners that need one should be able to offer a bigger haul for it.

Re: Dobbins vs 1.02 (Najee Harris?) POLL!
I definitely prefer the Harris side. A little bit more of a risk but could be a top 5 back in a few years. Harris is the top RB prospect on most people's boards that I have seen, where Dobbins was the 4th or 5th RB prospect last year behind Taylor, Swift, CEH, and maybe Akers.
Dobbins' stock definitely increased when he landed in Baltimore but, I'm from Pittsburgh and everything I'm hearing says Harris has a great chance to land with the Steelers. With Tomlin's philosophy on using a "bell cow" RB (he was, in fact, the coach who said he would run Willie Parker till the wheels fell off) and the Steelers likely return to a more run oriented offense, Harris could be a beast. I know for a fact the Steelers want to commit more to the run and, with Ben's likely retirement, they probably won't have a choice. Even if Harris doesn't end up a Steeler, I still think he's a better option than Dobbins. And if Harris ends up in a terrible situation, you can always trade down in the 1st round with a QB needy team. Just my opinion!

I strongly prefer Dobbins to Harris, however, I think you'd be losing value by moving 1.02 for Dobbins alone. Unless this is 10 team SF or smaller, BPA at 1.02 is going to be a QB, and should command a better return that just forcing your hand at essentially drafting for need rather than value either way. If it is 10 team or smaller, give me Dobbins easily. Sure, maybe Dobbins loses some volume to Jackson, but the Ravens run the ball so much it makes little difference. No one person is likely to carry that entire rushing load and the fact that Jackson can run just means that even if the D stacks the box with a S, at least one person is going to be assigned to spy, so essentially Dobbins never faces a truly stacked box. This is why I see his efficiency from 2020 as sustainable.
