Hunt Trade, 2022 1st

Postby PigeonBoys » Tue Apr 20, 2021 9:50 am

Got an offer to send my 2022 1st for Kareem Hunt straight up. Would you guys do this one? For the record my first should be a late one finishing 1st and 2nd the past two years.

I went somewhat all in last year trading my 1st, 2nd, and next years 2nd already so I don’t have a lot of draft ammo these days. I feel like this is good value especially since I have Chubb but looking to see if anyone has a different opinion. Thanks!

I think Hunt helps your RB depth and the price is decent. Even with starting Chubb, I think you could flex Hunt in a bind. Overall, I like this deal for your team.

Awesome thank you! I’m trying to balance my love for trying to find the next big thing in the draft with practicality. My practical side says thus is a good trade lol but I’ve had a fair amount of success in the late first and beyond. I think it may bother me more that I’m putting in zero research on rookies this year as I have no picks and that’s something I enjoy.

Hunt is the much safer and proven asset in my opinion versus a late 1st. Seems like a nice deal.

I like it as well. He'd also easily replace Chubb in your lineup, if he were to miss time again.

Also, nice team. Lots of studs, not a ton of depth, but I think you're fine. TE is the only weakness, but maybe Tonyan has a similar year

Thank you for the compliment first of all. Yeah Te has been tough for years, thought Njoku was the guy, oops. Then thought Higbee was the guy, oops again. Now it’s such a wasteland at the position I’m rolling five deep with the hopes someone will truly break out. Here’s to hoping!

That's the type of deal a contending team should make.
