Trading for Watson in a rebuild

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading for Watson in a rebuild

Postby Yostb » Mon Apr 19, 2021 10:29 am

Im not competitive this year and the Watson manager is. If I can get his 22 1 thrown in is that enough to mitigate the risk of swapping for Burrow?

My offer -

Give : Burrow
Get : Watson + 22 1
Team 1
12 Team 1QB (start 8)
QB - Allen, D Jones, Lance, Hooker
RB- Bijan, Jacobs, Najee, Conner, Ford, Fournette, Moss, Rodriguez, Dowdle, Hill, Rodriguez, Strong, Wilson
WR- Adams, Diggs, G Wilson, DK, London, Diontae Johnson, Mike Williams
TE- Kelce, Pitts, Otton, Strange

24 - 1st, 3rd

Team 2
12 Team SF, 2TE with .5TEP (start 12)
QB - Tua, Kyler, Carr, Dobbs, Winston, Heinicke
RB - A Jones, Gibbs, Mostert, Monte, Sanders, Wilson, Moss, Allgeier, Perine, Wilson, Hull, Chandler
WR - Hill, Diggs, Adams, Cooper, Kirk, Hollywood, Burks, Lazard, Chark, Campbell, Arob
TE - Hock, Waller, Everett, Parkinson, Hopkins

24 - 4
25 - 1, 2, ,3, 4

If you can get a 1st on top, sure. Doubtful it gets done though. I know I'm not selling my Watson shares for half price in dynasty formats.

I think it's worth it the gamble, although you won't replace a QB with a late 22 1st if Watson does end up in jail(I don't think that happens)
TEAM 1 - 12 man SF. ppr, TEP 1.65 ppr

11 starters - QB, RB(2) WR(3) TE, SF, Flex(3)

Stroud, Kyler, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Minshew, Trey Lance, Dalton l, Mike White

Breece, Achane, AJ Dillon, Justice Hill, Evan Hull, Chris Rodgriquez

Chase, Lamb, Waddle, Olave, London Drake, Demario Davis, Jake Bobo

Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Kincaid, Schoonmaker

24 picks - 1x2, 3,4,5

Team 2-
12 man SF, .25ppc, .5ppr rbs, 1 ppr wr, 1.5 ppr TE

Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawerence, Jake Haehner, Jake Browning

JT, Kendre Miller,, K Ingram, Ty Chandler, Michael Carter, Kenny Macintosh, Sean Tucker

Puka, Rondale, Mooney, Wan’dale, Terrace Marshall, DPJ, Justyn Ross, Xavier Hutchinson,

Kyle Pitts, Luke Musgrave, Juwan Johnson, Darnell Washington, Jelani Woods, Elijah Higgins

24 - 1st x 3, 2nd x 2, 4th x 3 ,5

x3 - I'm guessing most owners are holding as of now post comments. Watson is a very risky buy and sell currently. Burrow is the safer play, but I understand the value here if this is on the table.

Despite yesterday’s comments, I would hold Burrow.
