Welcome to the community!

I would rather move Allen over Godwin long term. This is a pricey deal, but I think Mahomes is the best and safest asset in SF now and long term. I would lock him up. Looks like your team is a couple years out and I would rather build around Mahomes over any other asset in the format.

What makes you think I am a couple years out?

Mostly lack of QB and RB depth. Your WR and TE are good but not much depth there either.

I'd make the deal with Keenan

In SF, give me Mahommes. Give Allen, Godwin is a hold.

I agree there is no depth, but I do have the 1.2 which gets me the best non-Lawrence player in the draft. Also have 4 WR2 to boot.

I agree about lack of depth at Qb and Rb. You are depending on two rookies to hit for a QB and an RB2, which is no guarantee.

As mentioned here, QB depth is an issue in SF and I'm not sure you have the WR core to really make a push. It's certainly not a bad core at all, but not enough to carry you based on your RB room.

You never know what can happen in a season and you could go on a major run, but I think QB and lack of true elite WR's could hurt your chances.

As I mentioned in the original post, I really like the Mahomes deal with Allen involved and gives you Mahomes, Taylor and Godwin to help build your team around in the coming years.

How many teams? That may make a difference

To be candid, this was a startup draft team. Nobody in the league really has depth. 12 Teams
1QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, 1FLX, 1SF - 1 PPR - Dynasty
QB: Mahomes, Lawrence, T. Taylor
RB: Swift, Dobbins, Edwards S. Michel, T. Williams, Perine, Dallas
WR: D. Moore, R. Bateman, E. Moore, R.Moore, M. Jones, Conley, T. Williams, People-Jones, D Brown
TE: K. Pitts, Howard, Hurst

3 of your 4 WR are depreciating assets though. I would be attempting to rebuild. Mahomes, JT, 1.2, Godwin, Andrews is a nice core. I'd be moving Lockett and Woods also

i would make the trade with Keenan Allen and take a QB with your 1.2, I'd work to stay young with you WR while you work to acquire a RB2 and some depth. I agree you aren't there yet but you have some good young pieces and are on the right track.

Rebuild!?!?!

I legit just drafted the team. I was thinking I adds fields to the group and my weakness (RB2 (treating as a flex)) could def get me through the season.

It's very possible and I wouldn't be selling anything off until you see how the season is going. Especially in a startup. If you see you arent in the mix after a handful of weeks, I'd take the recommendations to sell off your older depreciating assets if price is right.

You are in the team advice section, don't be too surprised. It's a fine team, just not a strong one and missing some key elements

Safe to say that I wouldn't have drafted most of the players you did in a startup. Hard to say though without knowing who was available and when. Good luck
