Re: Barkley for Gibson +++
It's a lot on paper but a ton of fluff. Breaking it down, three 1sts + Gibson is pretty solid value for Barkley. Reagor was hugely disappointing, but could still hit. The rest carries very little value. The value is there in theory if the picks hit.

Re: Barkley for Gibson +++
depends on where your team is. I wouldn't be super excited about mid to late round picks unless I'm in a complete rebuild. You can prolly flip gibson for a first next yr, might have to include a mid to late round pick.... Just depends on your team. If you're rebuilding, okay haul, not my favorite players, but I'd flip them. if your competing, hell no

I am selling Barkley before he starts losing value and I think Gibson and 3 firsts is a steal. You can always package those firsts for something else if you wanted.

Re: Barkley for Gibson +++
I'm admittedly high on Gibson, and I'm having a difficult time finding more than one reason to take the Barkley side.
Barkley - If you're a true 2021 contender, you should probably hold Barkley and take your best shot for this season.
The only significant risk I see on the Gibson side is if Coach Ron decides to go with some form of shared backfield. Even with that happening in 2020, Gibson ended the years as RB12-RB13 in ppr. I can't imagine Gibson having less of a role in 2021, so that's likely his floor.
Ignoring the junk in the trade, there are 3 1st round picks on the Gibson side. Even if I have a 2021 contender, I almost have to take this trade. Barkley is dynamic, but we can logically assume Gibson ends up no worse than RB 9. I'm will to drop from RB3 to RB9 if I get 3 1sts to go with it.

Re: Barkley for Gibson +++
Idk about worrying about selling Barkley on some age issue. He's 24 and only a year older than Gibson...
That said Gibson and 3 firsts (most late though) are tempting. I'd prefer a better first over 3 late ones honestly

Re: Barkley for Gibson +++
At the end of the day, RB are good to sell before it's too late. Another injury would do some damage to Barkley's value. However, if he bounces back he stays in the top RB discussion. I also think, and could be completely wrong, but he feels like the type of RB (great size, speed and natural talent) that will play a while and I'd think he will do so effectively. Not saying he will have an AP or Gore career, but I wouldn't be surprised if he puts up numbers in his later 20s
Re: Barkley for Gibson +++
It's a pretty fair trade.
Like others have said, if you are truly a competitor it's hard to replace Barkleys league winning upside, not really about their "floors." If not, I get the appeal of 3 firsts and a solid back end RB1. Ask him what all the fluff in it is worth (reagor, William's, late round picks) and consolidate to useful assets. When you are trading in hundred dollar bills, pennies are just noise.
The age and injury arguments are overblown here. I'm all for selling RBs sooner than later, but we are comparing two similarly aged RBs.

I am willing to admit I was wrong on Gibson and he had a great season, but I am still not ready to lose Barkley for this package
