That Gordon offer would be a decline even without 1.02.
2.02 still gets you a top 5 qb, a top 3 WR or RB, or Pitts. Any of those are worth a lot more than Gordon right now. I could see 1.02 and 2.02 for Ekeler and 1.04 making sense if you want a non QB (doubt 3.02 gets it done, but you can try).
Me personally, I'm taking Fields at 1.02 in SF, even 10 team. I think he's special. If the NFL tells me I'm wrong and let's him drop I'll reconsider, but I think most of the negative press is teams hoping against hope that he falls a bit.
