This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Return for Gibson

Postby EaglesFly » Fri Apr 16, 2021 5:50 pm

I am in a salary league, but that aside. What / how many firsts would it take to move Gibson? The other team holds the 1.06, 1.08 this year, and a 2023 1st.

For what it’s worth Gibsons contract goes until the end of 2022. Each of the rookie picks has a 3 year contract once drafted. Just want to gauge what picks would you move Gibson for.

In a 1QB league, the top 3 RB's will be gone by 1.06. So, adding the 1.08 to it won't get me to move off Gibson. I don't have much value for any pick in 2023 until sometime next year. The other team would have to throw in a pretty piece with 1 or 2 of those first rounders to get Gibson off me.

Back end of an early or front end of a mid 1st seems like fair value. I prefer Chase and Smith to Gibson, but with what he showed, I would rather hold him over drafting another rookie RB at this point. Landing spot is not a huge factor either as Gibson should easily be the guy in Washington.
