Dobbins+ for lamb+

For team #2 in signature (12 team SF, ppr (1.5 ppr for te))

I've been talking to the lamb owner on and off, hes interested in Dobbins and either Sutton or k Allen.

I think I would need a rb and/or draft picks back in addition to lamb.

Two thoughts I had:
Dobbins+Sutton for lamb + ekler (I may be lower on ekler than most so maybe he would value this as too much)

Or
Dobbins + Sutton for lamb + 1.10 + edmonds

I would then likely use my 1.05 draft pick on a RB (harris or Etienne) unless a qb I really like drops to 1.05

Do these trades seem reasonable or am I asking for too much/too little?

I don’t think it’s terribly bad but I don’t see lamb owner willing to add much of anything to lamb for dobbins and Sutton.

I'm super low on Ekeler as well, but I think trade #2 makes sense and and is worth the move (if it's an option) if you think Harris or Etienne drop. Dobbins is a great piece, but I think locking up Lamb this offseason is a great move long term.

The only reason I think it has a better chance of working is because this is his framework for the deal. Guess I'll probably end up offering both and seeing if he takes one or counters to something I can accept.

I like Dobbins I'm just worried that his ceiling is capped in that offense with Jackson not usually targeting rbs in the passing game and taking some goaline work. Honestly would much rather move monty but pretty sure the main piece this guy wants is Dobbins.

As for if harris or etinne even make it to 1.05, I'm not sure. I haven't yet taken a look at the needs for the teams at 1.01-1.04 yet. I'd be okay taking chase at 1.05 or just trading the pick for a rb at that point I think.

Well... Just looked. 1,2 are definitely going qb. 3 and 4 (while both having just 2 QBs) have holes at rb. So I guess harris and Etienne are not likely to fall to me unless one of them really likes a qb. But maybe I could move the 1.05 and 1.10 in some type of trade.

I would lean toward keeping Dobbins as, to me, RB is the higher value position with such a shallow starting lineup (1 flex).
If I were to choose between the 2 scenarios because you really want to add Lamb, I would prefer Ekeler over 1.10/Edmonds because you have a strong team (as evidenced by your undefeated 2020) and are likely to repeat with proven production.

Yeah I definitely like the ekler result better, just worried it's asking too much. I just sent both offers, we have a good enough trading history and relation that I don't think he'll be offended if the values are way off in his mind.

Even if you end up with Chase or Smith with the 1.05, I would still make the deal. I'm of the same mindset though and think Dobbins loses a lot of carries, not just touches due to Jackson. I think Dobbins is a great asset, but Chase and Lamb would be a really solid return. Not to say that Sutton does not play a factor here, but that offense is a mess and I think Jeudy cuts into Sutton big time over time and possibly as early as this year.

Honestly I doubt Sutton sees my starting lineup much. I'd likely have all of my other wrs ahead of him (metcalf, hopkins, k Allen, and Godwin) just because Sutton has lock throwing to him.

Don't think this is going to work. Not a real believer in Edmonds as it is, and those two thirds are going to be real dart throws. He does have the 2.05 but there aren't 17 players that I feel confident on in this draft. Probably closer to 14-15.

Thinking of just responding with what needs to be added to get to ekeler, but I have a feeling it's going to be a lot.

Agreed, rough counter and too pricey. Edmonds is a non factor for me as well. I would go the route you mentioned of asking what needs added and gauge from there.

Tried to politely reject his offer station that I think we both value edmonds pretty differently and asked if he would consider moving ekler and if so what would he be looking for him.

I guess I could also pivot and offer Allen instead of Sutton, but I think Allen is worth more to me on my roster than he is in a trade.

So I think we're done here. Just too different in value I think. Oh well. Really wanted lamb and was fine giving up Dobbins and Sutton, just couldntl find a way to bridge the small gap there. Maybe something will come up later.

I would pass on all of his counters and just hold Dobbins if this is what it would cost to get Lamb.
