This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade review

Postby DynastyKing23 » Thu Apr 15, 2021 1:08 pm

Team in signature. I traded for a 2023 1st round pick as well as a the 3.08 this year and a 3rd in 2023.

I gave up the 2.05 and 5.01 this year, 2nd,3rd,4th,5th next year, 2nd in 2023.

My thought is I have 3 1st this year and a solid team. Idk who I will be looking to drop to make room for all those picks any how and my team should finish well where they're all late in their respective rounds. His team is really bad and has no solid TE, RB, QB or anything about a WR2. He also has no 1st this year so no real chance to improve until 2022. Thinking his 2023 1st will be a top 4 or 5 pick and my 2nds will all be in the 8 or above range.
12 team PPR 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2 FLEX

QB- Burrow, Murray, Stafford, G Smith
RB- CMC, Taylor, Swift, Jacobs, B Hall, Gibbs, A Jones, Najee
WR- Kupp, AJB, ARSB, K Allen, Pittman, London, Puka, Dell
TE- Kelce, Hockenson, Pitts

Picks

2024 2nd, (2)3rd, 5th
2025 1st, (2)3rd, 5th
2025 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th

Yea I feel the price was little steep and has some risk built in. If my team tanks somehow and he does a 180 in 2022 then I def lost value. I'd say with about 90% confidence his 1st and 3rd in 2023 will be top half hopefully even better and my 2nds being bottom half in the nest 2 years.

Seems pretty steep to me for a 1st multiple years out. But once the pick gets here, it could be worth it depending on what all the piks turn out to be asset wise. This will take a while to play out.

I was just reading on the 2022 class and didn't like what I saw, trying to collect the 2023 picks now. Was hoping to keep that 23 2nd though

Too far out for me. I'd have done it for a 2022 though. You may not actually land a 1st round caliber talent with the picks but you could land some hype that someone would pay for with those picks.
TEAM 1 - 12 man SF. ppr, TEP 1.65 ppr

11 starters - QB, RB(2) WR(3) TE, SF, Flex(3)

Stroud, Kyler, Bryce Young, Anthony Richardson, Minshew, Trey Lance, Dalton l, Mike White

Breece, Achane, AJ Dillon, Justice Hill, Evan Hull, Chris Rodgriquez

Chase, Lamb, Waddle, Olave, London Drake, Demario Davis, Jake Bobo

Kyle Pitts, Mark Andrews, Kincaid, Schoonmaker

24 picks - 1x2, 3,4,5

Team 2-
12 man SF, .25ppc, .5ppr rbs, 1 ppr wr, 1.5 ppr TE

Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawerence, Jake Haehner, Jake Browning

JT, Kendre Miller,, K Ingram, Ty Chandler, Michael Carter, Kenny Macintosh, Sean Tucker

Puka, Rondale, Mooney, Wan’dale, Terrace Marshall, DPJ, Justyn Ross, Xavier Hutchinson,

Kyle Pitts, Luke Musgrave, Juwan Johnson, Darnell Washington, Jelani Woods, Elijah Higgins

24 - 1st x 3, 2nd x 2, 4th x 3 ,5

Trying to guess class depth and talent that far out and even 2022 is a bit of a stretch, IMO. And you SURE can't guess how your trade partners team will pan out. Especially if he has all those picks and decides to rebuild
