Trading SF 1.01

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading SF 1.01

Postby dcr1984 » Wed Apr 14, 2021 1:05 pm

For team 3:

I've been getting a lot of interest in our rookie 1.01. My only real strength is QB, so I'm open to trading it. I think I'm probably not going to compete this year, so I'm mostly looking for guys in their 3rd year or younger. Most of my offers have been for more mid-career vets.

The guy with Aaron Jones, Montgomery, Keenan Allen, Allen Robinson and 1.09 asked what I wanted for 1.01 and said everyone's on the table. Any combo of those assets you'd take for 1.01? Or just hold for now.
Team 1: (20 man rosters)
10 team, negative 0.1 pt per pass, rush, reception. (1 QB / 2 RB / 3 WR / 1 TE / 1 K / 1 DEF)

RB: McCaffrey, Mixon, Ekeler, Foreman, Patterson
WR: Hill, Wilson, Deebo, Allen, Jeudy, Meyers, Zay Jones, OBJ
TE: Hockenson
K: Dicker
Def: SF, Phi, Dallas

2023: 1.07

Team 2: (18 man rosters)
10 team, 0.5 PPR, 6 pt passing TD (1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 WR/RB, 1 TE, K, Def)

Qb: Jackson, Cousins, Lance
RB: Taylor, Fournette, Gibson, Patterson, Gaskin, Elijah Mitchell
WR: Jefferson, AJ Brown, DJM, Lamb, Rondale Moore
TE: Kelce
Def: Cin

Team 3:
12 Team PPR SF/1.5 TE Premium (QB-2RB-3WR-2RB/WR/TE flex, 1 superflex)
QB: Jackson, Prescott, Lawrence
RB: Taylor, Swift, Henry, Hall, Patterson, Wilson, Burkhead, Ingram
WR: Adams, Lamb, A-Rob, JuJu, Calloway, Berrios,
TE: Kittle, Gesicki, Gronk, McBride, Hurst, Jonnu

I don't see enough value based on your build with the pieces on the table to make a deal. There are some great pieces in that mix, but not for a future looking build in my opinion. I can see you wanting to move the pick based on your QB core, but worse to worse, you can take Lawrence and shop another QB in season.

Given where you're at with your build, none of those pieces really interest me to much. Easy pass for me.

Those aren't good options for the 1.01. He would have to send all of those players for me to even be interested. I would hold for now in hopes that someone makes a better offer. The offers will only get better leading up to draft day. And if they don't...draft Lawrence. You will still get offers after you do.

Yeah this is pretty much my thinking as well.

Would you swap it for 1.04 + 1.05?

I like the value of 1.01 for 1.04 + 1.05. But I would shop Tua first. I would rather have Jackson & Lawrence long term that Jackson and Tua. Tua didn't show enough in 2020 for me to have him ahead of Lawrence...even for 2021...and definitely not long term.

This would actually be for Team 3 in sig, with Jackson and Dak at qb.

I missed that reading from the phone. You are right. Set at QB. Yeah...in that case I would grab the 1.04 + 1.05 right away!
